Fresh.Land

Fresh.Land is a scale-up with a new model for the food industry. We developed a pioneering platform that shortens and digitizes the food supply chain. It allows farmers to sell fresh products directly to consumers, using the trees as their “warehouse” and cutting 3-5 middlemen. Our platform provides all the logistics, payment, legal, and knowledge required in one integrated solution. Fresh.Land was coined “truly pioneering” and “one of the most promising green startups in Denmark”. Our disruptive startup won the Sustainary Award (Denmark), Frederiksberg Iværksætterpris (Denmark), European Youth Award (Austria), EcoSummit Gold Winner (Germany), Nordic Cleantech Open (Sweden), WWF Climate Solver Award (Denmark), Portugal Digital Awards (Portugal), and Green Tech Challenge (Denmark). We have offices in Copenhagen and Portugal. The company is profitable and growing at a very fast pace. We are preparing to launch commercially in 8 EU countries. The management team includes former senior McKinsey consultants and senior executives, with a proven track-record in building and exiting successful companies in the past. According to WWF, “Fresh.Land can save 88% of CO₂ from storage and reduce food waste by 10%, saving 12.7 million tons of CO₂ annually by 2026”. Our just-in-time model is at the forefront of the green transition in the food industry and fostering a shift to a more plant-based diet.

Kitchenswaps

Kitchenswaps is an online marketplace for commercial kitchen space, matching kitchen owners with food businesses. High rental and operating costs and low profit margins for commercial kitchen owners (think restaurants, cafe's, you name it!) has resulted in a rise in bankruptcies, further compounded by the pandemic. At the same time, there is a large shortage of commercial kitchens, limiting food entrepreneurs to start/expand their business, preventing them from vital development. Our 'win-win' circular solution optimizes unused kitchen spaces by renting it out to businesses in need of flexible and affordable licenced kitchens. This maximizes revenue for kitchen owners and minimizes barriers to entry through easier access for food businesses. We are Emma & Joachim and we are two passionate foodies on a mission to make culinary innovation accessible to all!

BRØL

BRØL -  foodtech company that designs and develops circular solutions that are pioneered as the world's 1st circular craft brewery. We are all about offering the most sustainable craft beer and driving the change with flavors, sustainability, and diversity. Our startup brewery is bringing more flavor, responsibility, and innovation into craft beer and beverage industry. Not many know, but beer is really resource-intensive to produce and with so much waste being created in our food systems, something has to change. Hence we are developing tech to bring us closer to zero waste and bring the most responsible and damn good-tasting beverages to the market. We are done building our new brewery in February, so if you are up for a visit, then let us know! BRØL is a combination of Danish words for bread and beer translating directly to 'roar' and we ROAR for positive impact and tackle a truly global issue - one sip at a time!

Nordic Boba

Nordic boba, a young startup founded in 2022, has experienced significant growth over the past two years. Specializing in the production of popping boba for bubble tea, Nordic Boba primarily exports within EU. The company has HQ in Aarhus, Denmark. Currently Nordic Boba consists of a small Aarhus based team and collaborative partnerships with various companies. We have customers in over 12 European countries, including retail businesses, restaurants, production facilities and wholesalers. Our mission is to become the leading wholesale provider of bubble tea equipment and supplies.

OrderBuddy

OrderBuddy is a digital menu platform that helps dining places to an efficient and quick order flow without getting annoyed customers. We have all been out in a dining situation where the waiters are too busy to get to you, and it takes the fun away from being there with friends and family. What if you could just order and pay, have fun with the people you are there with, and then wait to get served. After you're done, you can order more, or leave the place without getting the waiter one more time. OrderBuddy is an ordering system, where guests can place and pay their orders directly from the table on their own phones. No need to install anything, just scan the QR code on the table, or go to the webpage and find the dining place, add items to the cart and pay. The order goes directly to the kitchen or bar. The idea for OrderBuddy of course started when I was out dining with some friends. The place was busy, and we actually wanted to order a new round of beer to the table, however the waiters were too busy elsewhere, and when we finally got a hold of the waiter we decided to just pay. The restaurant lost revenue and ended up with customers who had a bad experience.

Kaffe Bueno

Kaffe Bueno is a Danish bioscience company based in Copenhagen, we upcycle coffee by-products into active and functional ingredients for cosmetics, nutraceuticals and functional foods. Our vision is to change the world sees coffee - from a caffeinated beverage to a sustainable resource for health and wellbeing. Our mission is to unlock coffee's health and commercial potential by taking advantage of the whole spectrum of its bioactive compounds. Some of the things we do: - Produce KAFFOIL: an active cosmetic ingredient upcycled from coffee grounds. It's used for healthy ageing, hair care, moisturising, and improving the skin barrier. You can find it in over 15 brands worldwide, including NIVEA. KAFFOIL is also used as an ingredient in food & beverage. - Produce KAFFIBRE: upcycled defatted coffee fibre used as an ingredient in cosmetics and food & beverage. - Circular partnerships: we upcycle spent coffee grounds from local businesses in Denmark into toiletries (hand soaps, shampoos, lotions and creams) and have a private label brand for these. - New products coming soon, all derived from molecules from within coffee.

+impact accelerator

We are an equity-free acceleration program for seed and series A impact startups in the Nordics. The accelerator runs two batches a year, one in spring focused on Agrifood and one in the autumn on Smart Cities. The program lasts 7-8 weeks and is implemented by WeWork Labs, Danske Bank and RISE in Stockholm.

Endless Food Co

We're future-proofing the chocolate industry. We are tackling a major environmental issue in the food industry—chocolate production’s significant contribution to deforestation and unsustainable farming practices. This problem affects not just chocolate manufacturers but the entire food supply chain. With growing concerns over climate change, labor issues, and the vulnerability of cacao supply, there’s an urgent need for alternatives. Our solution benefits both manufacturers and consumers by offering a product that is environmentally friendly and reduces the demand on traditional cacao farming. Endless Food Co is creating THIC (This Isn’t Chocolate), a chocolate alternative made from upcycled ingredients. It delivers the same indulgent experience but without the environmental impact of traditional cacao farming. Our product integrates easily into existing chocolate applications, offering a sustainable choice for manufacturers. We saw the environmental and ethical challenges of chocolate production and wanted to create a solution. Combining our passion for food innovation and sustainability, we founded Endless Food Co to offer a delicious, eco-friendly alternative that future-proofs the chocolate industry.

We believe what we eat can change the world. That's some big words to describe eating tasty snacks and juicy burgers. But in fact by integrating alternative protein, we can take a huge step towards a more sustainable future. FUSE

FUSE is a Danish startup on a mission to reinvent how we consume energy. We combine caffeine and essential vitamins in small, great-tasting powder sticks that can be easily mixed with water anytime, anywhere. The idea behind FUSE came from a real need. As students and young professionals, we constantly found ourselves relying on energy drinks to stay focused and keep going. But the products available were either filled with sugar, came in bulky cans, or simply didn’t feel like something we wanted to put into our bodies. We created FUSE to offer a clean, portable and transparent alternative to traditional energy products. Each stick fits in your pocket and delivers a refreshing, sugar-free boost when mixed with water. No fridge needed, no crash afterward, and no guessing what’s inside. Just clean energy, wherever you are. Our target group is made up of young, active individuals who need focus and energy throughout the day during studies, workouts, events or long shifts at work. We aim to remove the friction of staying energized in a busy everyday life by offering a product that is both practical and trustworthy. At its core, FUSE solves three main problems: traditional energy products are inconvenient to carry, often packed with sugar and additives, and not transparent about their ingredients. We solve this by being light, clean and clear. As we continue to grow, our goal is to build a community of ambitious people who want to perform at their best without compromising on health or convenience.

La Cabra Coffee

La Cabra Coffee is a modern coffee company established in Aarhus, Denmark in 2012. We started in a small shop far from the city centre, a dedicated team aiming to offer something new and exciting to Aarhus, which already had a strong and established coffee culture. Quickly, this dedication to providing outstanding coffee experiences turned into obsession with a fast growing industry that was slowly spanning the globe. Curious about what lay further down the coffee chain, we threw ourselves into sourcing and roasting our own coffee, our own way, in 2013. Part of the advantage of growing in a small town is the lack of external influence, allowing us to forge an honest and novel approach to coffee. This honesty and dedication led to a reputation at home in Aarhus, where a passionate team still runs our coffee bar and bakery. Attention also began to trickle in from further afield, and today La Cabra is a widely recognised and sought after coffee roaster; we are proud to be working with many valued and quality driven wholesale partners to create bright and transparent coffee experiences in cities across the globe, and with dedicated home users and subscribers in more than 60 countries. Over the past few years we have further expanded our coffee horizons, moving to our larger roastery in Copenhagen, and opening our first international locations in New York, Bangkok and Dubai.

FoodOp

Our mission is to reduce the CO2 footprint in professional kitchens by reducing food waste and enabling a sustainable menu transition. Food waste is a 1.6-billion-ton problem that is estimated to account for 8-10% of global greenhouse gas emissions. We founded FoodOp in 2020 with the mission of combatting food waste in commercial kitchens. However, it quickly turned out that food waste was a symptom of an analog ecosystem with great potential to improve the environmental footprint, productivity, and quality of food servings. Therefore, we have ended up building a digital platform that helps professional kitchens reduce Co2 and admin workload. We do so through a menu planning module, a display module, and an ESG reporting module where kitchens can manage Co2, organic produce, nutrition, and food waste. The menu planning and ESG reporting modules are powered by AI and an automated data collection methodology that enables more sustainable, profitable, and enjoyable food service.

Wavy Wonders ApS

We're on a journey to introduce seaweed as a natural part of nordic food - first by way of a sustainable, nutritious, ready-to-eat snack product. Each bite begins with a crispy lightness followed by a wholesome, satisfying crunch, crafted in a selection of familiar flavors - done a little differently. The Why: By 2050, the world is required to produce at least 50% more food and do so while achieving 'Net Zero' carbon emission according to the UN. Seaweed has unique properties in that it can be grown on lines of rope in the ocean, with no requirement for artificial inputs (fertiliser, fresh water, light). The output is nutritious seaweed that is stock full of essential vitamins (A, D, E, B1, B2), Iron, Calcium, and Omega-3 fat - usually only found in fish. And there's more - seaweed also sequesters about 5x as much CO2 as land-based plants. In short, seaweed can be part of the solution for some of the world's largest issues. Our dream, is to create local demand, for locally produced seaweed, to support foods of the future and Danish companies.
