South Pole is more than a leading consultancy, its team of 600+ experts have developed projects, as well as designed innovative tools across finance, climate neutral APIs, and carbon offset solutions to help clients reach their carbon mitigation and Net Zero goals. To date South Pole has worked with over 1,000 clients, and will soon have developed 700 offset projects across 23 offices globally. Our solutions have created tens of thousands of jobs in developing countries, hundreds of millions of dollars for business, improved brand value and better living and working conditions for countless people in vulnerable communities around the world.

Empirical

Empirical is a flavor company, founded in 2017 and located on Refshaleøen in Copenhagen. Our approach is inspired by the Empirical method and the belief that knowledge is gained from experiences, our senses, and a desire to explore the world around us. Focusing on flavor, our company uses low-temperature distillation, fermentation, and unique, high-quality ingredients sourced carefully from all over the world. The result is culinary innovations in the world of spirits, beverages and food products. We pay respect to tradition, but want to explore without prejudice, reinventing and mixing things up instead of letting traditional boxes define how we do things. Our team reflects this: it is made up of waiters, chefs, scientists and professionals who are keen to do things in new ways and to work outside of their comfort zones.

Folk Kombucha

We are a newly started contemporary Nordic brewery that blends traditional fermentation techniques with science, infusing new life into an ancient beverage passed down through generations. Located in the vibrant heart of Copenhagen's Meatpacking District, we have spend the past few years in building our state-of-the-art brewery and developing our products and flavours, and we finally launched in March 2023. We are currently 7 people in the team working across all business functions of production, distribution, sales and marketing. When you step through the doors of our brewery, you're joining a team of passion. Our small team allows for close connections, as we operate on three essential pillars: Craft, Care, and Community. Craft is the foundation of everything we do. We take pride in our approach, using time-honouring techniques when brewing each batch of our kombucha with utmost care and attention to detail. From selecting the finest organic ingredients to nurturing our culture, we're committed to craft the best unpasteurized, living kombucha possible. Care is at the heart of our low-impact approach. Our commitment drives us to implement practices at every stage of our production process that minimize waste and take steps to reduce our environmental footprint. We find inspiration for our Folk flavours in our region, using solely certified organic ingredients to encapsulate the pure and nourishing taste of the Nordics. Finally Community is the essence of Folk Kombucha. We believe that a strong sense of togetherness fuels our success. Despite our small team, we're a diverse group representing five different nationalities. Good Habit Co. is a lifestyle brand who provides a personally tailored vitamin solution. We sell our products directly to our users, through online sales channels and strategic partnership. And we deliver the products every month through a subscription service. We want to help our customers navigate the many truths, hearsay and pseudo-science, that is flooding the nutritional supplements industry. And we want to deliver premium product that our customers see on a daily basis as a subtle reminder of the promises they make themselves. Because we can’t all be changing the world. So why not start by changing your own. Maybe you start by making your bed in the morning, skipping the coffee to have a glass of water, or maybe by adding a pill of personally adjusted nutrition to your daily breakfast routine. Rå Hygge is B2B and B2C company. Conscious Hygge, Health and Happiness is our summarized vision of healthy eating and drinking. We produce tasty organic Fungi Coffee with added medicinal mushroom extracts, which creates a coffee with less acidity and less jitters normally associated with caffeine and giving you a balanced boost with enduring energy.

Kaffe Bueno

Kaffe Bueno is a Danish bioscience company based in Copenhagen, we upcycle coffee by-products into active and functional ingredients for cosmetics, nutraceuticals and functional foods. Our vision is to change the world sees coffee - from a caffeinated beverage to a sustainable resource for health and wellbeing. Our mission is to unlock coffee's health and commercial potential by taking advantage of the whole spectrum of its bioactive compounds. Some of the things we do: - Produce KAFFOIL: an active cosmetic ingredient upcycled from coffee grounds. It's used for healthy ageing, hair care, moisturising, and improving the skin barrier. You can find it in over 15 brands worldwide, including NIVEA. KAFFOIL is also used as an ingredient in food & beverage. - Produce KAFFIBRE: upcycled defatted coffee fibre used as an ingredient in cosmetics and food & beverage. - Circular partnerships: we upcycle spent coffee grounds from local businesses in Denmark into toiletries (hand soaps, shampoos, lotions and creams) and have a private label brand for these. - New products coming soon, all derived from molecules from within coffee.

REKOM GROUP

REKOM is Scandinavia’s biggest nightlife group. We own and operate more than 200 nightlife venues across Denmark, Norway, Finland & UK – and there are more on the way. GRØD is a café and restaurant concept that opened in Nørrebro, Copenhagen in 2011, with a nerdy focus on everything related to "grød", including porridge, smoothie bowls, daal, congee, risotto and bowls. Most countries have a unique "porridge"-culture that explores different ingredients, grains and spices. And when it's made right, it tastes absolutely fantastic – and it’s naturally healthy and sustainable. We also highly value community among our colleagues and our guests, and love working with people who understand that their energy has a big impact on their surroundings. GRØD has restaurants in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Oslo, as well as a series of retail products available in the most major supermarket brands.

Damn Good Coffee Company

At Damn Good Coffee Company, we’re on a mission to change the coffee industry. The waste from coffee consumption is a major contributor to the trillion ton CO2 problem from the food and beverage category. We are creating a sustainable system that makes it easy to turn coffee net zero at scale. We have successfully turned many thousand coffee users climate-neutral, but we are only getting started, obsessed with the impact we can make for the many.

Fresh.Land

Fresh.Land is a scale-up with a new model for the food industry. We developed a pioneering platform that shortens and digitizes the food supply chain. It allows farmers to sell fresh products directly to consumers, using the trees as their “warehouse” and cutting 3-5 middlemen. Our platform provides all the logistics, payment, legal, and knowledge required in one integrated solution. Fresh.Land was coined “truly pioneering” and “one of the most promising green startups in Denmark”. Our disruptive startup won the Sustainary Award (Denmark), Frederiksberg Iværksætterpris (Denmark), European Youth Award (Austria), EcoSummit Gold Winner (Germany), Nordic Cleantech Open (Sweden), WWF Climate Solver Award (Denmark), Portugal Digital Awards (Portugal), and Green Tech Challenge (Denmark). We have offices in Copenhagen and Portugal. The company is profitable and growing at a very fast pace. We are preparing to launch commercially in 8 EU countries.
