We are a Danish food production company creating powerful cooking ingredients to make food taste better. Our goal is to support a successful plant-based transition by delivering naturally transformed pastes, liquids and powders. Using advanced fermentation processes, we extract the umami flavor from protein-rich peas to create balanced, versatile and powerful food enhancers for professionals. Nordic Koji's miso is a fermented bean paste made with Danish organic ingredients. Advanced fermentation turns simple products into a concentrated and versatile umami enhancer used in cooking.

RØRT KØBENHAVN

Award-winning RØRT makes "pålægssalat" like you've never had it before. RØRT rethinks this old classic within Danish cuisine focusing on craftmanship, sustainability, convenience and, most importantly, the ultimate taste. RØRTs mission is to supply the Danes with great tasting organic "pålægssalat" that can be enjoyed at all occasions. Most people associate "pålægssalat" with a mass-produced products full of mayonaise, poor ingredients and loads of additives. RØRT wants to alter this by making honest and clean products where the vegetables play a lead role, and where most ingredients are locally-sourced and seasonal. RØRT currently runs a small deli-shop at Torvehallerne in Copenhagen, where RØRTs products can be purchased.

The central aim is to facilitate a straightforward transition towards more sustainable practices. One of the key features of Wopla is its CO2 tracker, which provides transparency in monitoring and reducing carbon emissions. By using Wopla, businesses can more effectively oversee their environmental impact, making sustainability an accessible and integrated part of their everyday operations.

Funga Farm

At Funga Farm we grow the highest quality organic mushrooms with a distinct focus on sustainability. Our integrated laboratory, production facility, and farm allows us complete transparency and control over every aspect of our production. Mushrooms are one of, if not the most, sustainable crops to grow. Their texture and umami flavor also rival meat in ways very few products can. Mushrooms are the food of the future and they still have so much more to offer. Here at Funga Farm we aim to lead the way in building a culture around the wonderful and diverse world of mushrooms.

The Sparkling T Company ApS

The Sparkling T is a tastemaker and a gamechanger. The Copenhagen-based brand offers a range of non-alcoholic and low-alcoholic sparkling beverages based on organic, cold brewed tea. Launched in 2022, The Sparkling T is part of a growing category of elevated aperitifs and celebratory drinks that appeal to the contemporary consumer. The Sparkling T is an alternative to sparkling wines such as Prosecco, Asti, Cava and Champagne – but most of all it is a drink that resists comparison. The entire Sparkling T range is certified organic and created from a selection of premium teas, grapes and natural flavors. They appeal to the conscious consumer, looking for a glass of bubbles with little or no alcohol without compromising on taste, appeal and aesthetics.

Connecting Grounds ApS

Connecting Grounds is a food start-up based in Aarhus that up-cycles spent coffee grounds (a.k.a. coffee waste) into a food ingredient for B2B snack and confectionary companies and restaurants. Why do we do it? 1. Environment Spent coffee grounds are often treated as waste. Think about how many cups of coffee you or the people around you drink per day. All the coffee waste from drinking coffee adds to the Greenhouse Gas Emissions. 2. Nutritional Value When we brew our cup of coffee, we are only taking advantage of 1% of coffee's nutrients. 99% of these nutrients stay in the spent coffee grounds. These nutrients include caffeine, dietary fibre, proteins and valuable minerals. What we do is change the narrative behind hidden food waste by starting with coffee by-products. By up-cycling such a product, we evert emissions, take advantage of our resources and raise awareness on the importance of up-cycling. Rethinking food is what we do, and we will not stop with coffee by-products. We will continue to search for resources/ingredients that have the potential of being reintroduced in the food stream, again.

About Bemakers Bemakers is building the leading global platform for direct beverage distribution to help Makers of alcoholic beverages (e.g. beer, wine, and spirits) sell directly to their customers across borders. The company was founded in May 2021 and has raised EUR 1 million in pre-seed funding to build the platform and establish Bemakers as the innovator and challenger within the global beverage distribution category. Bemakers is founded by a core team with a strong track record in building and scaling platform businesses within relevant industries. Consibio is developing an IoT/Cloud platform for enabling real-time production data with advanced analysis features, that provide actionable and deep insights in the bio industry. Sustainable bio industries are suffering from inefficient resource usage and low productivity due to lack of data and insights, which is a major barrier to the green transition. That's why we created Consibio Cloud to solve that.
