Waitwhile

Waitwhile is a digital queue management platform that helps businesses deliver better waiting experiences for their customers through automated, personalized and smartphone-based queue experiences. Waitwhile lets customers wait from anywhere and track their wait time status in real-time online - and helps the businesses automate their customer flows and reduce their wait times with machine-learning optimization. Waitwhile has improved the wait experience for over 80 million guests and collectively given people back over 2 million days they would have otherwise wasted waiting in line. Our customers include IKEA, Lululemon, Louis Vuitton, ADP, US Department of Veterans Affairs, Facebook and thousands of other businesses looking to improve their waiting experiences. The company was founded in 2017 in San Francisco by brothers Christoffer Klemming and Jonas Klemming, with the mission to eliminate the 1 Trillion hours that humans waste standing in line every year. Waitwhile has secured $12 million in funding from investors including CRV and has offices in the US and Sweden.

RE-ZIP

What is RE-ZIP RE-ZIP is a circular packaging concept offering circular packaging to more or less all players in the ecommerce industry. By circulating and hence reusing rather than using single-use packaging (even recycled) we save CO2 even the first time a packaging is reused. It works likes this RE-ZIP delivers the packaging to webshops who offer the sustainable packing solution to their customers at check-out for a minor fee (paid back via reward voucher upon returning the packaging). Upon receipt of the goods the customer folds the RE-ZIP packaging to a return format and return it at a Drop Point. The packaging is returned to the RE-ZIP warehouse for cleaning and re-circulation to the webshops. The RE-ZIP packaging can be circulated up to 10 times, but more importantly the packaging will begin saving CO2 Within the first or second use – depending on the type. RE-ZIP has developed a state-of-the-art backend system supporting the above process and are currently operating in Denmark, UK and Poland. Cirqle Biomedical

Our mission is to create a contraceptive technology that renders hormonal birth control obsolete. We are addressing the millions of women that are demanding non-hormonal products with fewer side-effects to manage their fertility. Today, nearly 60 years after the first oral contraceptive pill was sold, most prescription birth control methods are variations on the same synthetic hormones. In collaboration with the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden, we have developed a technology that reinforces the natural barrier properties of cervical mucus. The principle of the technology is to use topically-applied biopolymers to make cervical mucus impenetrable to sperm cells throughout the menstrual cycle. Our approach enables a potentially groundbreaking product that protects within a minute and for extended periods without the systemic side-effects known from hormonal contraceptives. In 2019 we raised $1.8M for pre-clinical development. Today we are incubated at the BioInnovation Institute, conveniently located in central Copenhagen, with access to state-of-the-art labs.
