Solid IO is developing a test that shows in advance whether immuno-oncology (IO) drugs will work for each cancer patient, helping doctors avoid trial-and-error and giving more patients access to these promising medicines. IO drugs are transforming cancer care, but they don’t work for everyone. Today, most patients tat receive these treatments don't benefit. Valuable time and resources are lost, and side effects and emotional stress can be heavy. This problem touches millions of people worldwide, frustrates doctors, and slows down the development of new IO drugs. Our solution is a test that mimics a patient’s cancer and immune system outside the body. With it, doctors and researchers can see how that patient reacts to IO medicines before starting treatment. This means patients get a more effective plan right away, and pharma and biotech companies can design smarter, faster trials for new IO drugs and combinations.
