Local Minds is a social venture dedicated to increase local engagement— to enable for housing communities to become sustainable. With innovative gamification, we make local interactions more effortless, valuable and fun. Our engagement tool create brand new ways for people to interact with their closest surrounding and for community administrators to interact with their residents. A win-win model where people can utilise smart and sustainable solutions— while being rewarded for it. We simultaneously help measure the well-being of communities and automatically implement actions to improve it.

In a short span of time, Upsound has become the leading platform for recording studio rental in Denmark, both on an hourly- and session basis. We facilitate a large number of crowdsourced studios throughout the country that rent out their studios through our platform, as well as a vast network of music producers, sound-engineers and songwriters. And in 2024, we changed our name from Juicebox to Upsound, re-branded ourselves at upsound.com, and are ready to take our first international steps! But why is there a need for a platform like ours? Countless musicians across all music industries does not have access to recording studios, which is both due to a lack of studios, that access to studios is often based on personal networks, as well as the fact that existing studios are often very expensive, and the common users therefore cannot afford to use them. But despite this, many studios are often empty, as most of them are rented on a monthly basis by only one or a few owners who does not use them full time, but finding renters for the available days and/or hours can be time consuming. At Upsound we try to solve both problems. With our crowdsourcing of existing studios across the country, we can highlight all the offers out there, thereby bringing the customers and the studio owners together. As of today, we have onboarded 40+ professional studios to our platform, have 1000+ users registered, and have facilitated over 800 bookings. But why us? Because we have experienced the problem ourselves as musicians. We, like many others who start making music, did not have a large network of friends in the industry, and we did not know any producers, sound engineers, or studios, and we certainly did not have money for what we could find on Google. We are therefore heavily dedicated to solving this issue, but have also seen the potential for a highly profitable business endeavor. This combination is why we went directly from university, to working full time on Upsound, to creating a team that have all the necessary skills to solve any problem we may encounter, to being adopted into Innfounder Graduate, to landing our first investment in December 2023, and our ambition is not only to solidify ourselves in Denmark, but to become the leading platform for recording studio rental in Europe.

We all know that frustrating and irritating feeling of an itch occurring after getting a mosquito bite. Even after using mosquito spray and other mosquito preventing products, you’ll still end up using the rest of the evening scratching your ankles like tomorrow never existed. Not only is the itching unbearable, but it will also result in many small wounds on your arms and legs, blood stains on your clothes and yet another summer where you feel less comfortable taking on a pair of shorts or a skirt. Some will try using different kinds of lotions and ointments, which work temporarily or not at all, and are filled with unhealthy chemicals. We know that every person has wished for an instant solution, which could remove this itching feeling from a mosquito bite. And that is what we have created. The NOITCH is a very simple device. The product is a heating pen in the form of a small cylinder which is easy to use and store when on the go. It works with just a push of a button and is able to remove the itching feeling within seconds with the use of controlled and heat treatment. Wave goodbye to swollen marks and scratched up legs. This product, NOITCH, is developed by the two young guys, Casper and Nicolai. The project started during the summer of 2020, when Nicolai came to Casper with an interesting idea. During mosquito seasons, he and his family had always used a “housewife trick” to get rid of the many mosquito bites. The trick was to heat up a metal spoon in boiling water and place it on the mosquito bite. After a little while the itching feeling was gone. Nicolai was then wondering how this trick works, why it isn’t more well-known and why there wasn’t a product on the market yet which could do just that. The heat treatment theory was afterwards confirmed to us by a doctor and professor from Aalborg University Hospital. We have together with a manufacturer from China created 2 functional prototypes, which we have tested on several people and by that proven the function of the product. Art Nordic salgs- og kunstmessen afholdes den 26. – 28. november 2021 på Lokomotivværkstedet i hjertet af København. Vi forventer deltagelse fra op mod 250 kunstnere fra ca. 30 lande. De sidste 7 år har udstillingen haft +79.000 besøgende gæster fra seks kontinenter, hvilket gør den til den største salgs- og kunstudstilling i Skandinavien. Som den største kunstmesse i Skandinavien er Art Nordic et unikt forum for samtaler om kunst. Og det er netop formålet med messen: At skabe rum til dialog, følelser og oplevelser relateret til kunst. Art Nordic er dedikeret til møderne mellem skaber og tilskuer – mellem kunstværk og menneske. Art Nordic blev Skandinaviens største kunstmesse i 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 og forventningerne er de samme til 2021. I april 2019 gæstede over 15.000 kunst interesserede Art Nordic kunstmessen – Bl.a. aflagde repræsentanter fra over 176 kunstforeninger besøg på Art Nordic.
