RestfulBlanket is a Danish company that runs social projects while developing and producing organisk weighted blankets and sensory weighted products designed to create calm in the body and improve sleep. We work at the intersection of mental wellbeing, social responsibility, and practical solutions for people whose nervous systems do not easily settle. Our focus is on people living with anxiety, ADHD, trauma, stress, and sensory overload, as well as families supporting children with similar challenges. For many, sleep is not just a routine, but a daily struggle shaped by a body that stays in alarm. That is the problem we exist to address. Our products are developed from lived experience and built around natural materials. Each blanket is filled with heat-treated rapeseed and sewn in breathable cotton, creating a quiet, formable, and temperature-regulating pressure that adapts to the body rather than resisting it. The goal is not just weight, but a specific kind of grounded, even pressure that helps the body feel safe enough to release tension. The result is a sensory experience often described as a calm, steady embrace rather than a heavy object. At the same time, RestfulBlanket is a registered socialøkonomisk virksomhed. Our production takes place in a small, structured workshop in Denmark, where we create meaningful employment and training opportunities for people with psychological vulnerability or neurodivergence. The work is organised with high predictability, low sensory load, and strong relational support, allowing individuals to contribute in a real production environment while building stability and confidence. Beyond our workshop, we run social initiatives such as collaborations with crisis centres, where weighted blankets are used as a practical tool to support women and children after violence. In these contexts, the blanket is not presented as a product, but as a simple, physical anchor that can help the body find a first sense of safety and rest. Our mission is to build something more than a product range. We are working to establish a trusted Danish reference point for natural, body-based calm. That means combining material quality, transparent communication, and real-world impact. We are building a travel safety platform for individual travelers. Travel remains a strong driver of connection and understanding, but it now takes place in a more complex global environment. Geopolitical instability, climate-related events, health risks, and sudden local disruptions have become more frequent and less predictable. At the same time, international mobility remains high, and people continue to travel across borders for leisure, work, and personal reasons. Our research shows a clear gap between the desire to travel and the confidence to do so. In our survey work, a majority of respondents indicate that they would value a solution that combines timely safety warnings with practical, location-specific guidance. Market trends point in the same direction: travelers are increasingly attentive to safety and preparedness, while existing information sources remain fragmented, generic, or difficult to apply in real situations. Our purpose is to make travel safety clearer, more relevant, and easier to act on. We are developing a technology-based approach that brings together trusted international data, local context, and intelligent processing to support better decisions before and during travel. The focus is not on providing more information, but on providing the right information at the right time. The platform is structured around two core elements. The first is warnings and alerts when relevant incidents or changes occur. The second is a practical “411 guide” that provides contextual information about local conditions, norms, and considerations that matter for safety and confidence while traveling. Together, these elements form a consistent safety layer that follows the individual traveler, independent of destination. Technology and AI are essential to this approach. This target group becomes isolated at home during their school years, which later leads to difficulties in securing and maintaining employment, costing society 2.2 billion annually. Research shows that the most critical factor for these students is restoring their self-confidence regarding learning; they need to experience learning as a positive activity and process the traumas that led to their school refusal (The Back2School Modular Cognitive Behavioral Intervention, 2024). Therefore, before attempting to reintegrate students into the physical school environment, it is crucial to rebuild their confidence and bring them up to the academic level of their peers to reduce feelings of stigmatization. The Solution: What is your idea? Describe your product or service. GradeAid is an AI agent that creates personalized learning experiences. Students simply scan their homework or verbalize what they wish to learn. Our AI then generates tailored content derived from pedagogically validated materials, specifically designed for children who lack academic confidence or have fallen behind. The system continuously learns from the student's interactions and automatically adapts the curriculum. This helps restore the self-confidence and joy of learning that many of these students lack, while ensuring the process is both personalized and fun. The platform features a 24/7 AI tutor providing instant feedback. Through gamification, students earn coins for their virtual pets. This approach was selected because research has long established that gamification effectively builds confidence and helps children re-engage with learning (Impact of gamification on school engagement: a systematic review, 2024). Instead of forcing the child to fit the system, our technology adapts to the child's way of learning. Our intention is to build confidence so that children find it easier to return to school, equipped with the mental energy to focus on social reintegration. The platform supports both English and Danish. We are currently testing the Danish version.

Using natural and recycled materials, our cushions make sitting a pleasure while preserving the chairs’ style and sustainability. ⸻ The Why: It wasn’t the chairs’ fault—I love my classic chairs, but I found them hard to sit on comfortably. I discovered that cushions supporting both seat and back made a huge difference. Hvile Living exists so others can enjoy these beautiful chairs comfortably and sustainably.
