Across Europe, municipalities are facing the same problem: Loneliness is increasing (especially among elderly, newcomers and vulnerable groups). Preventive wellbeing work is underfunded and fragmented and cities struggle to activate citizens in a scalable, measurable way. At the same time, there are thousands of people who want to help but no simple structure to connect them with real needs. Commu solves this gap. We enable municipalities to activate residents, organizations and volunteers into one shared digital community, where people can easily ask for help, offer help, and participate in meaningful local actions.
