At Minuendo we are passionate about sound and the sense of hearing. We are equally concerned about the state of hearing for both consumers as well as professionals, ranging from musicians to workers in the construction industry. Minuendo was founded in 2018 by a team with extensive experience in acoustics, hearing protection, and product development. Our mission is to deliver category-defining hearing protection products that users will truly enjoy wearing and that will provide real protection.  Shortly after starting the company, we raised a total of EUR 2.5 million from investors such as Construct Venture and EU grants to accelerate our development. Minuendo is a fast-growing start-up based in Oslo. The founders have a track record of start-ups and product development. We have raised NOK 25 million since we started the company in the fall of 2018. This award-winning technology is not affected by changes in blood circulation, heart rate, hypotensia, environmental temperatures, and hypoxia, and shows low variation between individuals at the same level of pain. The pain monitor can be used on patients as young as 23 weeks of gestational age, as well as geriatric patients. MS is currently working on a miniaturized and wireless version of the SCA.
