The story behind Linear began in 2018 when our other service Dixu was founded in Helsinki, Finland. While working on that project, we met multiple realtors and other operators working in the real estate industry and heard the difficulties they had with the manual labor. Also, the lack of modern-day practices within the field was unavoidable to see. We could not ignore the problem so instead, we decided to create a solution - Linear. Today, Linear offers exclusive digital services especially build for businesses working in the real estate industry.

It’s 2021 – and although sustainability, fashion and e-trading trend like never before, only about 1 out of 20 in the Western World trade secondhand online. It turns out that the current marketplaces are too hard, risky and outdated. That’s an issue for our kids and grandkids when the consumption of just a single t-shirt pollutes like two hours of hot shower and eight kilo conventional meat. But we got a groundbreaking solution. Try to imagine – that all those leftovers you got at home were fast to upload and easy to sell. Imagine if swiping unique secondhand and 24-hour auctions made it fun to buy – with full return from validated users through safe transaction systems. What if we could enter our wardrobe from everywhere? Even follow, like and comment on friends and influencer’s clothes, and women easily borrow from each other. There are one billion cars in the world, a number that is set to double in the next 10 years—we’re doing everything we can to stop that from happening.   Getaround was founded to change the way that people think about cars. With the average car sitting idle 22 hours a day,  there had to be a better way to put the cars parked on our streets to better use.   By providing a safe and seamless way for people to share cars with each other we want to change the way the world thinks about car ownership.

Incept Sustainability is an online learning and analytics site with simple and short guides introducing topics within the field of sustainability designed to be shared and completed by an entire organisation. All our learning material is interactive and focus on the work of the individual employee, which allows us to collect insights, feedback and ideas from all corners of an organisation. Enabling both bottom op and top down change at the same time. Interested? We are always happy to speak :-) Our team currently consist of four people - we are all students or fully fleshed engineers with a focus on sustainable development, user involvement, teaching or software. Because of our studies we work around 20 hours per week on the startup, we work agilely using elements from the Scrum framework to deliver the new features of our site quicker.We match a social and fun environment with an ambitious work ethic - it is always easier to be productive when you are happy and love what you do!
