Wavers is developed as a result of the challenges with mental health that workplaces are faced with today. Mental illness is increasingly prevalent, and The National Research Center for the Working Environment (NFA) estimates that the direct and indirect societal costs of mental problems are 55 billion Danish kroner (approx. 8 billion USD). Sadly, the corona crisis has certainly not contributed positively to this trend. The crisis generates huge insecurity for companies and their employees and can potentially trigger mental problems such as anxiety, stress and depression. We have just released our app “Wavers” which is supported by the union “the Velliv Association.” Wavers is a dynamic health platform that detects and prevents problems and challenges at workplaces before it turns into serious problems. Particular for our team is that everyone has some special skills important for the company which they are able to contribute with (skills besides the study). There is among us all a very ambitious mentality, which is important for the success of the company. The members of the DIGURA team have already won several awards and published several books within law, proving that the team is very ambitious. We work fast and efficiently, but we always remember to praise each other and keep an incredibly good atmosphere. Everyone is really valued at the company for what they contribute with. Therefore, there is a really good working environment at DIGURA. You can either meet and work together, or work from home. The most important thing is to keep the deadlines agreed on each week. There is not yet a deadline that was not reached. We hold a meeting once a week where everybody participates, so everybody knows what has been done in the last week, and what is on the program for the next week. Besides that, we always end the meetings with shoutouts and praise.
