We take as many breaks as necessary to maintain focus and energy, coffee & tea is a daily routine with us. It is important for us that we help each other with different responsible areas. A strength in our company is the creative strategies we daily talk about. We love talking marketing, taking on challenges on how to penetrate the flooded media space. Every year in January we host the IFLAMO Winter Conference, where we talk about the previous year and plan the coming year. We combine this with taking pictures and videos that we can use for ads, marketing & our website.  We will meet up with our USA team to share results with each other. We like to celebrate milestones with going out for a nice dinner & drinks. To keep up the morale in the business we usually gather with friends and other start-ups to play board games or other activities.

Impact Roasters is a social coffee enterprise supporting coffee farmers and local communities in Ethiopia through its trade model called Impact Trade.    We bring coffee beans directly from small-scale farmers without middlemen from the highlands of Ethiopia, which we roast locally at our roastery in Copenhagen.    At the moment, we run different Impact projects in Ethiopia bringing significant changes to the local coffee farming communities.   Nidzara Fazlic and Daniel Halalla (Ethiopian)  started the company to bring the Ethiopian coffee culture to Scandinavia: roasting the coffee on the spot, enjoying coffee as a social drink and appreciating the work of the coffee growers who are part of the company. At Impact Roasters, we strive to share our love for coffee and tell the world about the rich Ethiopian coffee culture. We also believe that we can create long-term impact by bringing the farmers directly to the roasters.
