Scoutbase is a tool that helps shipping companies become safer, more productive and generally better workplaces.In a nutshell, we do this by helping companies understand what makes daily work and life on a ship difficult for their crews.Right now we are focused on the maritime industry and on making life at sea safer for the 1.6 million seafarers out there. But we are exploring opportunities for using our technology to tackle the same lack of data in other industries.

The importance of bacteria in both industrial and medical applications is expanding exponentially. SBT Instruments provides fast and accurate bacteria-counting equipment to facilitate the bacto-revolution. Commercial success and pushing state-of-the-art technology to the market are the cornerstones of our company. SBT was established in 2014 as a spin-out from the Technical University of Denmark. Today, the company employs 15 people, has acquired two patents (recently filed for a third), has one product on the market and another product that is soon to be launched.
