Gimi is a Swedish startup that was founded in 2015 (then called Veckopengen) by Philip Haglund. Gimi's aim is to provide children and young people with financial education in a fun and interactive way. Together with the Gimi card (a prepaid Mastercard) Gimi gives children both theoretical education and practical exercises in personal finance. The app is based on in-depth research in psychology, didactics and economics developed in collaboration with universities and educational institutions in Sweden as well as abroad.
