Alice.tech

Alice makes personalized learning accessible for students and teachers using the latest in AI. More than 50,000 students across the world have already used Alice. In 2025 we joined Y Combinator’s W25 batch in San Francisco, and we raised almost $6m to scale. Though still small, our team punches above its weight – with backgrounds from Top Universities, McKinsey, PhDs in Machine Learning, 10+ years of teaching, and even Denmark’s top high school GPA. Nomono

Nomono is about to change podcasting as we know it with disruptive hardware and software. We’re a Norwegian tech-startup and lucky to be building a global brand where customer satisfaction is a key ingredient. Many challenges exist between recording and publishing. Getting ready and setting up equipment can feel like a time drain. Cables, microphones, and obtrusive stands get in the way of natural conversations. Laborious editing and audio cleanup distract you from being creative with the content. Faced with heaps of hurdles and complexities, even the most experienced creators sacrifice quality when crafting a story. We have created a portable recording studio that offers high quality audio recording and processing, consisting of a compact and easy to use recording kit (microphones, recording unit, charging station) controlled with a mobile app, as well as a web app supplying the ecosystem for processing it (offered as a SaaS solution). Recordings automatically sync to the cloud, and through machine learning you can clean out the sounds, remove background noise etc. A lot of great feedback from users, backing by large investors, and recently receiving the Innovation award in the audio category at SXSW 2023 is a great proof point that we are on the right track! Our main customers are broadcasting houses, agencies, journalists and independent podcasters, and our products are currently mainly shipped to customers in the US. We are a team of 37 (and growing) with expertise across signal processing, acoustics, consumer electronics and media production. Our headquarters is based in Trondheim, and we have a satellite office in Oslo and New York. We build hardware and software that is intuitive, collaborative and easy to use while delivering exceptional audio quality. Our vision is to make voices heard. We imagine a new way of audio production that is intuitive, creative, and collaborative from start to finish. We remove barriers between people and technology, producers and engineers, as well as hosts and guests — connecting the dots between stories and listeners. Leyr

Leyr is building the missing infrastructure layer for healthcare interoperability. Today, every product team that wants to integrate with an EHR (electronic health record) ends up rebuilding the same thing: brittle, one-off integrations, long lead times, unclear vendor pathways, and high security and compliance burden. The result is that valuable workflows never make it into care, because moving data between systems is slower and riskier than it should be. We solve this by offering a unified way to connect to EHRs and the surrounding clinical software ecosystem. Leyr helps customers ship integrations faster, with fewer moving parts, and with security and auditability built in from day one. Our focus is practical interoperability that actually works in real-world healthcare: reducing manual work, lowering operational risk, and improving patient safety by making the right data available in the right workflow. Material Exchange is a unique B2B platform that works with leading footwear and apparel brands to digitalize the material sourcing processes. Global restrictions on travel and a shift to digitalization has accelerated the need for digital material data. Material Exchange has a comprehensive library of materials that are required by brands to develop and produce footwear, apparel and accessories. The Material Exchange database is a highly secure vault containing approximately 40,000 digital materials from some of the largest material suppliers in the world including, Clarino, Tiong Liong Corp, Kuraray and over 350 more. Material Exchange brand customers include Ariat, Keen, Caleres, Steve Madden, Deckers Brands, Global Brands Group and many more. By leveraging the platform brands can reduce sourcing costs, improve product development timelines and reduce supply chain risks. The platform supports suppliers in better connecting to their brand customers and enables them to find opportunities for new business.

The founders and backers of We Don't Have Time are ordinary people with various backgrounds and experiences. Aware but not experts in this field, our lowest common denominator is that all of us at some point in life "woke up" and started to worry and learn about the Earth's health.
