Extending the globally unique Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) enables the introduction of a new trusted B2B customer identity service, Vorna ID. Vorna ID provides a standards-based interface for signing into partner web services, providing user's association to legal entities and the access for that partner web service. Organization information (LEI) can be linked to the registered Business Partner information (eg. Sold-to Number) in the CRM and ERP systems, enables further business process automatization. Vorna ID provides globally unique and verified corporate customer identification. The service consists of three products for the online service provider, that can be activated separately or together. These are: 1) Verified Partner - increases the conversion rate in online services due to verified Legal Entity Identity (LEI) data and user identities. Reliable corporate data significantly streamlines the on-boarding process of Business Partners for service providers. 2) Rights Management - Lowers the cost of Business Partner user management by enabling self-service access management for digital services. The use of Service Contracts in the Vorna ID service enables controlled use of digital services within the business ecosystem and supply chain. 3) Partner Login - Business Partner users can use their federated organizational identity e.g. Azure AD for multi-factor authentication. This enables signing of business transactions and increased access to confidential customer information. User organizations which enroll and are verified into the Vorna ID service will be required to pay a registration fee, by the organization or by the service provider.
