Norlix ApS

At Norlix, we are building a digital insurance and pension brokerage from the ground up. The industry is still heavily characterized by manual workflows, legacy systems, and advisory services that are typically activated only during scheduled reviews or when the client reaches out themselves. This creates friction and means that coverage and risk do not always evolve in step with the company. We are designing a different model. We combine integrations, structured data, and continuous analysis to make advisory services proactive rather than reactive. In practice, we focus on: - Automated and continuous data collection - Ongoing assessment of risk and coverage - Systematic monitoring of the market - Data-driven optimization instead of periodic reviews The ambition is simple: To make advisory services more precise, more transparent, and less dependent on manual processes. We are still in the build phase. This means the systems and processes we are developing now must be able to scale.

Componental

Componental began with a simple but stubborn curiosity: what happens when musicians are given tools that invite exploration instead of prescribing outcomes? Founded by musicians and technologists, Componental was born out of years spent taking instruments apart, questioning workflows, and searching for better ways to stay connected to the joy of making music. At the heart of Componental is a belief that technology should feel playable, expressive, and a little bit magical. Our work is deeply rooted in electronic music culture, from studios and live stages to DIY scenes and experimental communities, but always with an eye toward the future. Dubby, our first product, grew from this mindset: a versatile music multi-tool designed to remove friction, spark ideas, and encourage happy accidents rather than constrain creativity. We build slowly, thoughtfully, and with intention. Every decision, from hardware design to DSP, from software workflows to community features, is guided by real musicians, real use cases, and real curiosity. Componental isn't about chasing trends or shipping features for the sake of it. It's about creating instruments people can grow with, trust, and return to again and again. As we move forward, our mission stays the same: to design musical tools that feel alive, honest, and deeply inspiring, tools that invite you to explore sound on your own terms. Dubby, our music multi-tool, is a hands-on electronic music instrument that lets you build sounds, perform live, and explore ideas in real time. It bridges the gap between studio experimentation and stage performance, without locking you into presets, genres, or workflows.

Inzure

ABOUT Insurance is one of the biggest recurring household costs - yet the market is built on complexity: dense policies, hard comparisons, and increasingly individualised pricing with little transparency. The result is predictable: people overpay for years, miss critical coverage, or both - and often only find out when it's too late. We're building the consumer layer for private insurance, making it behave like a modern product. Upload your policies and, in under a minute, our AI turns fine print into clear answers: where you're over- or underinsured, where the gaps are, and where you're likely paying too much. We benchmark each policy against an anonymised pool of real policies to recommend better-matched alternatives - shifting knowledge and pricing power back to households. We're early-stage, moving fast, and already proving the need: 50+ customer interviews, 10 households switched, ~28% average savings while improving coverage - plus validation from senior industry professionals, a top-performing insurance salesperson on the team, and initial pre-seed backing from a Bain & Company partner.

BirdsatFive

At BirdsAtFive, we’re building Birdie – a platform that finally fixes the biggest reason most AI tools fail in B2B marketing: bad input. AI can write fast, but if it doesn’t know your brand, your market, your goals, or your customers — it just makes things up. That’s a huge risk for marketing teams trying to move fast and stay on-message. Birdie changes that. We structure all of a company’s GTM knowledge — from strategy decks and sales insights to product positioning and audience research — and use it to power AI tools that create content that’s on-strategy, on-brand, and actually useful. We’re not building generic chatbots. We’re building the execution engine modern B2B teams need to go from idea to campaign — with AI that doesn’t guess, but understands.

ABchar

ABchar is developing a new type of pyrolysis reactor, affordable heating and the possibility of small-scale biochar production, adapted to agriculture.. This will help achieve the goal of a 40% reduction in emissions from the agricultural sector. What is pyrolysis? Simply put, this is the heating of an organic material without access to oxygen. This leads to a series of reactions that ultimately result in 3 main products; biochar, oil and gas. We want to utilize the biochar in this process. The oil and gas will be burned and the heat from this will be used to dry grain, heat barns, greenhouses, residential buildings and other things that need heat on a farm. Why pyrolysis and biochar? Plants absorb CO2 from the air around us through photosynthesis. They are actually extremely good at this too. The residual product is mainly oxygen and the plant material. The great thing about pyrolysis is that we are able to separate water, oxygen and hydrogen from the plant material and we are left with more or less pure carbon 80% +. This is carbon from the air! If we take this coal and spread it on our agricultural land, it will be stored there for up to 1000 years and perhaps longer. In some cases, the soil will become more fertile and less vulnerable to periods of too much or too little water.

Galeria 18

Galeria 18 is developing a unique, Southern European-inspired gallery space to help art lovers and emerging artists find a creative community, explore new art forms, and showcase their talent in a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere. Our mission is to foster creative connections and make contemporary art accessible to all, with a hands-on approach to curating, exhibitions, and workshops. In the contemporary art scene, emerging artists often face barriers to gaining visibility and connecting with a community of like-minded creators. Many galleries are formal, exclusive, and intimidating, leaving talented artists without a platform to share their work. Art enthusiasts, on the other hand, are looking for a more relaxed, intimate experience where they can appreciate art at their own pace and engage with the creative process. This gap affects both the artist's exposure and the audience’s ability to connect deeply with art. At Galeria 18, we are solving this by creating a dynamic space that blends a gallery with a creative hub. Our gallery showcases modern art from both emerging and established artists, offering a platform for creativity, connection, and growth. In addition to exhibitions, we host workshops and courses led by the artists themselves, fostering a community where artists can share knowledge and connect with visitors. We aim to break down the barriers between artists and the public, making art more approachable and interactive. The motivation to start Galeria 18 came from a deep desire to create a space where art can flourish in a non-intimidating, vibrant atmosphere. I, Karen Dulong, have always been passionate about both art and entrepreneurship. With my background in strategic design and entrepreneurship and my own experience as an artist, I saw an opportunity to create something different – a gallery that not only showcases art but also acts as a creative haven for both artists and the community. This gallery is my way of supporting artistic talent and making art a more inclusive, shared experience.

Endless Food Co

We're future-proofing the chocolate industry. We are tackling a major environmental issue in the food industry—chocolate production’s significant contribution to deforestation and unsustainable farming practices. This problem affects not just chocolate manufacturers but the entire food supply chain. With growing concerns over climate change, labor issues, and the vulnerability of cacao supply, there’s an urgent need for alternatives. Our solution benefits both manufacturers and consumers by offering a product that is environmentally friendly and reduces the demand on traditional cacao farming. Endless Food Co is creating THIC (This Isn’t Chocolate), a chocolate alternative made from upcycled ingredients. It delivers the same indulgent experience but without the environmental impact of traditional cacao farming. Our product integrates easily into existing chocolate applications, offering a sustainable choice for manufacturers. We saw the environmental and ethical challenges of chocolate production and wanted to create a solution. Combining our passion for food innovation and sustainability, we founded Endless Food Co to offer a delicious, eco-friendly alternative that future-proofs the chocolate industry.
