We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative to help bring FoodOp to more professional kitchens across the Nordics, the UK, and the US.
Running a profitable and enjoyable foodservice business without compromising chef creativity is incredibly hard. FoodOp is on a mission to change that, globally.
FoodOp is the co-pilot for professional kitchens. More than 1,000 kitchens use it every day to manage recipes, menus, procurement, and reporting. As our SDR, you’ll play a key role in building our pipeline and driving the next stage of our growth.
This role is designed as a first step towards becoming an Account Executive in enterprise SaaS, and we’ll invest in helping you get there.
Please note: fluency in English is required. Danish is a plus.
As our SDR, you will:
Generate and qualify new leads through outbound prospecting by phone, email, LinkedIn, and at events
Research and identify ideal customers within contract catering, hospitality, and public-sector foodservice
Book high-quality discovery meetings for the sales team
Help shape our go-to-market strategy by sharing what you learn from customer conversations to improve messaging, segmentation, and targeting
Keep our CRM (Zoho) accurate and up to date, with clear activity tracking and qualification notes
Represent FoodOp at industry events and meetings
We imagine that you:
Ideally have 1–2 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or lead generation, for example from a call center, SaaS, or tech
Have a confident phone presence and the resilience to handle rejection
Are comfortable running structured outbound outreach through cold calling, email, and LinkedIn
Are proactive and self-driven, and motivated to help build the playbook rather than inherit a finished one
Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and enjoy owning work with real impact
Speak and write fluently in English
Experience selling into hospitality, contract catering, or foodservice is a plus, as is fluency in Danish.
You’ll join a small, high-impact commercial team working across Denmark and the UK. You’ll work directly with our CRO, our co-founders, and our Head of UK&I, as well as closely with Marketing and Customer Success. We make decisions through dialogue and alignment, and we value curiosity, ownership, and continuous learning.
We review applications on an ongoing basis, so send your CV and a short note on why you think this role and FoodOp are a good fit for you.
We care more about your ability to engage prospects, understand customer challenges, and create meaningful conversations than about how many years you’ve worked in sales.
We look forward to hearing from you!
