Product Engineer

At Complir we are building the system to enable safer physical products being sold across markets. The world of product compliance has been stuck in legacy systems, excel sheets and the brains of experts. The increasing amount of regulations and complexity is breaking these old systems, making it increasingly hard to sell safe compliant products to consumers. We are building the product that enables compliance experts to stay afloat.

We are a small team of generalists working on all parts of the stack. One day you might be working on improving the reliability of our AI systems, another you might be tweaking the UI of the product. Our team is one of high trust, collaboration and autonomy, therefore we’re looking for engineers who thrive when given responsibility from day one and are not afraid to figure out things on their own. We ship early and iterate directly with customers, therefore you will be expected to be comfortable talking directly to the users using the software you will build.

Location

Our office is located in Copenhagen and you will be expected to work in person. We will provide the necessary help with relocation if needed.

Day to day at Complir

• You will be working directly with the founders, customers and our in house specialists and you will help figure out what needs to be built

• Build AI native software that integrates with the latest models to solve our customers' hardest problems. (we have plenty of tokens)

• Build durable workflows to understand customers' unstructured data.

• Improve the data structures that connects cross border regulatory data

• Surface novel insights from unstructured and structured data

What we’re looking for

• At least 2-5 years of experience

• Strong understanding of React and TypeScript, with experience of working across the full stack. You understand browsers, but also the ins and outs of databases

• Product taste. You have opinions about UI/UX and enjoy iterating to get to the correct product shape

• High agency. You take responsibility and are able to work without a PM giving you tickets

• Experience working at a startup
