Founding BDR (Business Development Representative)

Salary Competitive
Equity To be negotiated

About the role

This is our first dedicated BDR hire, a founding sales role, working directly with the rest of the founding team. You'll spend your days reaching people who have not heard of Cue yet. In the early days this means a lot of direct hands-on outreach, turning cold interest into real conversations and demos, and as you learn what works, into a repeatable motion.

What you’ll be doing

  • Book demos by reaching out cold to department leaders at manufacturers, distributors, and product brands. Calls, email, and LinkedIn. You'll get sales ops and account-mapping support

  • Run a disciplined day, with enough calls to hit the target, follow-ups that don't slip, and the CRM updated before you log off

  • Test your own execution, on subject lines, call openers and timing, within the segments and angles we know convert

  • Talk to prospects every day, learning how they really run orders, invoices, and reconciliation, and feeding it back so it sharpens our ICP, messaging, and product direction

  • Grow into an Account Executive role, moving from booking meetings to hosting your own demos, then closing

What we’re looking for

  • 2+ years in a similar role, having personally run direct outreach and booked meetings in a BDR/SDR role, and ready to do it hands-on again

  • Real early-stage experience from another early venture, so you know first-hand what building a company from the ground up takes

  • A commercially sharp communicator who loves talking to customers and understanding their business

  • Resilient and goal-oriented, comfortable with rejection, driven by targets, and quick to keep going

  • Hands-on and hungry, genuinely wanting to get stuck into the work yourself and energised by building something from zero

  • Bonus

    • Technical skills are a big plus, e.g., through the ability to automate your own work and help build the machine for new team members

    • Industry knowledge is welcome, if you've worked in make-and-move sectors like manufacturing, distribution or supply chain

    • Danish is a big plus

What we offer

  • Meaningful equity, and a salary that reflects a founding role

  • A product that already works, with customers who talk about it

  • Direct access to the founders and to the roadmap

  • An office in central Copenhagen, and a team that ships every day

  • A product built on agentic AI, and a team that works the same way

We're built for companies that make and move physical products, and the shared inboxes that power them. It's one of the largest and least digitised parts of the economy. We already have happy, paying customers, a pipeline growing week by week, and world-class investors behind us. We're still early, and we're now looking for people to join our team.
