Role Purpose

The Executive Communications Specialist partners closely with the CEO to deliver clear, engaging, and consistent communications across Falkor. Acting as an extension of the CEO, the role translates complex business, technology, and industry topics into compelling communications for employees, customers, partners, industry stakeholders, and the wider market.

The role combines executive communications, internal communications, and communication coordination, helping ensure key messages are delivered effectively across the organisation and externally.

What You'll Do

Executive Communications

• Partner with the CEO to develop presentations, speeches, talking points, briefing materials, and key messages.

• Write content on behalf of the CEO, including LinkedIn posts, articles, internal communications, video scripts, and external thought leadership content.

• Translate complex business, technology, and industry topics into clear, engaging, and accessible communications.

• Support the CEO with day-to-day communication priorities, announcements, and strategic messaging.

• Help strengthen the CEO's profile through consistent thought leadership and communication activities.

Internal Communications

• Plan and coordinate company-wide communications, including All Hands meetings, Town Halls, leadership updates, and key announcements.

• Develop communications that improve employee understanding of company strategy, priorities, and organisational changes.

• Manage and maintain internal communication channels, including the company intranet and leadership communication materials.

• Partner with leaders across the business to communicate important initiatives and business updates.

• Help ensure a consistent tone of voice and messaging across internal communications.

External Communications & Industry Visibility

• Draft and coordinate press releases, external announcements, customer communications, and communication materials.

• Prepare key messages, briefing documents, and supporting materials for interviews, events, conferences, and speaking engagements.

• Support industry award submissions, conference abstracts, biographies, and speaker applications.

• Identify opportunities to enhance Falkor's and the CEO's visibility across industry, customer, and partner communities.

Communication Coordination & Planning

• Coordinate communication activities across teams, ensuring stakeholders are aligned, informed, and engaged.

• Research industry, business, and technology developments and convert insights into clear executive summaries.

• Support cross-functional initiatives that require communication, alignment, and stakeholder engagement.

• Ensure communications are delivered accurately, professionally, and at the appropriate time.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.

• Approximately 5+ years of experience in communications, executive communications, corporate communications, public relations, or a related field.

• Experience supporting senior leaders or executives with communication activities.

• Experience within a corporate environment is essential.

• Excellent written and verbal English, with exceptional editing and proofreading skills.

• Strong presentation development skills, including PowerPoint.

• Ability to simplify complex topics into clear, engaging, and impactful communications.

• Strong organisational, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in technology, software, industrial technology, or related sectors is advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Executive communications, executive branding, or thought leadership.

• Internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.

• Media relations and public relations activities.

• Social media content creation, particularly LinkedIn.

• Conference speaking programmes, award submissions, and industry visibility initiatives.
