Business Development Intern – Danish speaking

Join a Danish SportsTech startup and work closely with the founder to develop our product, customers and business.

KlubPlus is building a modern digital platform for sports clubs and associations, bringing websites, events, memberships, payments and communication together in one place.

The platform is live, we have real users and paying customers, and we are seeing growing interest from more clubs. We are now entering the next phase: developing KlubPlus into a healthy and sustainable business.

For that, we are looking for a Business Development Intern who wants to take an active role in the journey.

The role

This is not an internship where you will be sitting on the sidelines. You will work directly with the founder and get the opportunity to influence both the product and the development of the business.

Depending on your interests and skills, you will work with areas such as:

• Customer interviews and user insights

• Market and competitor research

• Identifying new customer segments and opportunities

• Outreach to sports clubs, associations and potential partners

• Customer meetings and product demos

• Customer onboarding and customer experience

• Testing new features and collecting feedback

• Product development and business strategy

You will have considerable freedom to explore ideas and take ownership of your own projects.

Who are you?

You are probably studying business, entrepreneurship, innovation, digital business, marketing or a related field at a university, business academy or similar institution.

More important than your specific degree is that you are curious, proactive and interested in understanding how a digital product becomes a successful business.

You:

• Are interested in startups, SaaS, digital products and business development

• Enjoy talking to customers and understanding their needs

• Can work independently and take initiative

• Are structured and comfortable taking responsibility

• Would like to experience what it is actually like to build a startup from an early stage

An interest in sports, clubs, communities or volunteering is an advantage, but not a requirement.

You must be fluent in Danish, both written and spoken. A significant part of the role involves communicating directly with Danish sports clubs and organisations, so professional-level Danish is essential. You should also be comfortable communicating in English.

KlubPlus is founded by Jesper Vestergaard, a digital designer and entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience designing and building digital products and businesses.

Practical details

The internship is unpaid and can be part of your formal study programme.

The duration is flexible, typically 2–6 months, depending on your study requirements and availability.

KlubPlus does not have a traditional office. We work primarily remotely, with regular online meetings and in-person meetings when relevant. This means you need to be comfortable working independently in a remote setup.

Working hours can be adapted to your studies and the requirements of your internship programme.
