Orvello is building an AI-powered workforce scheduling platform for restaurants, cafés, bars and venues.
Our goal is to make staff scheduling much faster and easier by using AI agents to help managers create schedules, handle employee availability, manage shift swaps, sick leave, reminders and day-to-day team coordination.
We already have a full-stack developer working on the product, and we are now looking for a mobile app developer intern/assistant who can help us move faster on the mobile app and support the process of getting it ready for launch on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
You will work closely with our full-stack developer and founders and help turn Orvello into a smooth mobile experience for both managers and employees.
Your tasks may include:
Helping build and improve the mobile version of the Orvello app
Working on mobile screens, flows and components
Supporting implementation of core app features such as login, employee schedule, availability, notifications and Orvy chat
Testing the app on mobile devices and fixing bugs
Helping prepare the app for internal testing, TestFlight, Google Play testing and later public release
Supporting the setup and launch process for Google Play Console and Apple Developer / App Store Connect
Helping with app store requirements such as builds, certificates, app icons, splash screens, metadata and release preparation
Collaborating with our UI/UX designer to make sure the app is simple, clean and easy to use
Working with our developer on technical improvements and implementation details

Ideally, you have experience with:

Testing and debugging mobile apps
Preparing apps for Google Play and Apple App Store
App store launch processes, including internal testing, TestFlight, app signing, builds and release setup
Building user-friendly mobile interfaces
You do not need to be an expert in everything, but you should be able to contribute actively and learn quickly. Experience with launching or preparing apps for the app stores is highly preferred.
It is a plus if you have experience with:
Publishing apps on Google Play or the Apple App Store
Google Play Console
Apple Developer Program / App Store Connect
TestFlight
Push notifications

Working directly with designers and developers
We are looking for someone who is:
Practical and solution-oriented
Honest about what they can and cannot do
Comfortable working independently
Good at communicating progress and blockers
Interested in startups and product development
Ready to help us move fast and build something real
You will get hands-on experience building and launching a real startup product from an early stage.
You will work directly with the founders, our full-stack developer and our UI/UX designer. This means you will not just be doing small isolated tasks, but actually help shape the mobile app, improve the user experience and support the process of getting the app ready for real users.
This is a good opportunity if you want to build real experience within mobile app development, SaaS, AI products, app store launches and startup execution.
