Listening Bar & Brewery Internship

Salary DKK 4,999 - DKK 5,000

Internship: Help Build and Run Our New Listening Bar Concept 6–12 months | Copenhagen | €700/month + possible paid shifts

The Opportunity

We’re building something new in the heart of Kødbyen — a small, ambitious listening bar located right next to the Kombucha Inc. brewery.

The bar is already open, but we’re still shaping the space, the concept, the routines, the events, the atmosphere, and the way people experience it. That means there is a lot to build — and we’re looking for a hands-on intern who wants to be part of that journey from the inside.

If you’re curious about hospitality, music, events, branding, community-building, social media, and what it takes to turn a small bar into a living concept, this is your chance to get involved in almost every part of the process.

This internship is especially relevant for a student who needs a practical internship as part of their study programme.

Your Impact

Building the Bar & Concept

Be part of developing the bar’s identity, atmosphere, routines, and guest experience.

Help shape how the bar looks, feels, communicates, and operates day to day.

Support the team in turning ideas into practical systems, events, and experiences.

Contribute to building a place that feels welcoming, creative, and alive.

Music, Events & Community

Help plan, coordinate, and run events at the bar.

Support everything from listening sessions and DJ nights to tastings, community gatherings, and creative collaborations.

Assist with booking, planning, communication, setup, execution, and follow-up.

Bring ideas for new events, music formats, partnerships, and ways to activate the space.

Operations & Running the Place

Take part in the daily running of the bar, including opening routines, service preparation, stock, and general coordination.

Help improve workflows, systems, and routines as the bar develops.

Work closely with the team to make sure the place runs smoothly, while still leaving room for experimentation and creativity.

There may also be opportunities to take paid shifts in the bar alongside the internship.

Social Media & Communication

Help build the bar’s voice and presence on social media.

Create content around the space, events, drinks, music, people, and behind-the-scenes moments.

Support with posts, stories, event communication, newsletters, and simple campaigns.

Help us tell the story of a new listening bar being built in real time.

Business & Concept Development

Support the development of new ideas for drinks, events, collaborations, and guest experiences.

Research trends, local culture, relevant brands, potential partners, music communities, and new opportunities.

Help us understand what works, what people respond to, and how the bar can grow.

What’s in It for You

A front-row seat to building a listening bar and hospitality concept from the ground up.

Hands-on experience across events, operations, branding, social media, music programming, and community-building.

A startup environment where your ideas can become real quickly.

The chance to work closely with a small, creative, and ambitious team.

Experience that is directly relevant if you’re interested in hospitality, entrepreneurship, culture, events, branding, music, or food and beverage.

A monthly internship compensation of €700.

Possible paid shifts in the bar, depending on availability and fit.

Who We’re Looking For

Someone curious, hands-on, and excited about building things.

A student looking for a 6–12 month internship as part of their study programme.

Someone interested in hospitality, music, events, social media, culture, branding, or entrepreneurship.

A person who enjoys working with people and creating good experiences.

Someone organized enough to help make things happen, but flexible enough to work in a place that is still being built.

A collaborative mindset — we’re a small team, and we work closely together.

You don’t need to know everything already. But you should be ready to learn, take initiative, and roll up your sleeves.

How to Jump In

No need for a lengthy application. Just send us:

A short video introducing yourself, or

Your CV, and examples of relevant past work, projects, events, content, or ideas.
