Juris is building AI-native software for legal and compliance work.

We are looking for a Founding Legal & Compliance Product Lead to help turn real legal and compliance workflows into a useful, trustworthy, and scalable AI product.

This is an early, equity-based founding-team role for someone who understands legal or compliance work and wants to help build the product layer around it.

The role

You will work closely with the founders, product, and technical team to shape how Juris understands, structures, and supports legal and compliance tasks.

You will help translate domain knowledge into product features, workflows, prompts, templates, quality checks, and customer-facing use cases.

This is not a traditional legal counsel role. It is not about giving legal advice to customers. It is about helping build a better legal/compliance product.

You will help Juris:

• map legal and compliance workflows into product flows

• identify high-value use cases for legal teams, compliance teams, founders, and business users

• turn messy legal/compliance processes into structured product requirements

• help design templates, checklists, playbooks, review flows, and AI-assisted work processes

• test and evaluate AI outputs for usefulness, accuracy, clarity, and risk

• support customer discovery and pilot conversations

• translate customer feedback into product improvements

• help define what “good” looks like for legal/compliance outputs

• work with the team on product positioning from a domain perspective

• help build trust into the product experience

You might be a lawyer, legal counsel, compliance professional, legal operations profile, legal tech profile, law graduate with strong product instincts, or someone from a regulated industry who has worked close to legal/compliance processes.

What success looks like

In the first phase, you will help us improving and building:

• a clearer map of the most valuable legal/compliance workflows

• product requirements for selected use cases

• templates, checklists, and structured knowledge assets

• quality criteria for AI-generated outputs

• better customer discovery notes and product feedback loops

• a stronger bridge between legal expertise and product execution
