CRM & Marketing Automation Specialist

Salary Competitive

About the Role

As the CRM & Marketing Automation Specialist at Wallhack, you will own and develop our CRM channel into a true performance driver - building, optimising, and scaling email and SMS flows across multiple markets. Working closely with the E-commerce Manager, you will take ownership of our Klaviyo environment and drive lifecycle marketing and campaign initiatives.

You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. From identifying growth opportunities and shaping campaign ideas to mapping out flows, building automation logic, and designing A/B testing schedules - you will turn CRM into a measurable revenue channel. You think in workflows and KPIs, but you also have the curiosity to spot what is missing in the user journey, from becoming a lead until converting into a customer.

We are building an AI-augmented marketing operation. We use Claude (integrated with Klaviyo, Figma, Notion, Shopify, and Slack), and we expect you to push the boundaries of what is possible, from automating localisation workflows to generating campaign templates to analysing flow performance. If you get excited about prompting an AI to draft, translate, and deploy an entire email sequence - you will fit right in.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & List Growth

Own and develop Wallhack's lead acquisition strategy across all owned channels. You will be responsible for increasing the volume and quality of leads entering our lifecycle flows - turning anonymous visitors into subscribers and subscribers into first-time buyers. This includes owning and optimising all on-site capture mechanisms such as popups, embedded forms, landing pages, and exit-intent triggers - testing formats, timing, incentives, and messaging across markets to maximise signup rates without degrading the site experience.

Performance tracking: Own the lead gen dashboard - track signup volume, source attribution, cost per lead, signup-to-first-purchase conversion rate, and time-to-purchase by cohort. Report on what's working and kill what isn't.

CRM & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Own the day-to-day operation of our Klaviyo environment across email and soon SMS

  • Build, maintain, and optimise automated flows (welcome, post-purchase, browse abandonment, checkout, birthday, back-in-stock, non-purchaser) across 7+ market languages

  • Execute campaign emails end-to-end: ideation support, template creation, localisation, scheduling, and A/B testing

  • Drive the CRM Growth Plan forward - flow upgrades, new flow creation, template redesigns, localisation rollout across all our current and future markets

  • Manage and expand the A/B testing schedule - for example send times, subject lines, preview text, CTAs, and creatives - with structured hypothesis tracking

  • Maintain and improve list segmentation, audience health, and deliverability

  • Report on flow and campaign performance weekly and quarterly with actionable recommendations

  • Collaborate with creative team on template design needs while owning the CRM execution pipeline

AI-Augmented Workflows

  • Use Claude and connected tools (Klaviyo, Figma, Notion, Shopify, Slack) to accelerate execution across CRM workflows

  • Build and document repeatable AI-assisted processes for email localisation, campaign drafting, flow analysis, and content generation

  • Proactively identify opportunities to automate or semi-automate manual processes

  • Stay current on AI tooling developments and bring new ideas to the team

Key Skills & Qualifications

Must-haves

  • Experience with CRM/email marketing platforms - Klaviyo strongly preferred

  • Process-oriented thinker: naturally builds workflows, checklists, and systems before diving into execution

  • Ability to identify opportunities in the customer journey and proactively propose improvements - not just execute, but think about what comes next

  • Comfortable with A/B testing methodology and structured experiment tracking

  • Strong understanding of deliverability, segmentation, automation logic, lifecycle stages

  • Experience working with localised content across multiple markets

  • Hands-on, self-starting work style - does not wait to be told what to do next

  • Genuine curiosity about AI tools and willingness to push boundaries in marketing workflows

  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus ecosystem

  • Experience with affiliate platforms (Impact, Awin, PartnerStack, or similar)

  • Familiarity with Figma, Notion, or project management tools

  • Experience in DTC / e-commerce brand environments

  • Understanding of SMS marketing

  • Knowledge of SEO basics

About You

You think in systems, not one-off tasks. When you see a manual process, your first instinct is to ask how it could be automated or templated.

You do not just run what exists, you look at the customer journey and ask what is missing.

You bring campaign ideas and flow improvements to the table without being asked.
