As a Tech Lead and Engineering Manager, you will lead a small off-shore developer team while staying deeply involved in the systems, code, and product decisions that shape the Servicelovers platform. You are likely a full stack developer but with a keen eye for the frontend. You are willing to own the product end to end, working closely with stakeholders and clients to solve real problems and opportunities and deliver resilient solutions at scale. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in complexity, drives execution, and raises the bar for how modern engineering teams build.
Lead a remote team of 3 junior-to-senior engineers responsible for the whole product area.
Own systems end to end with your team, from discovery and design to production and support.
You have a customer focus and a commercial approach to development and customer relations.
Stay hands-on in the codebase and especially in high-impact, or complex areas.
Work closely with the CEO on product development and engage with internal stakeholders and sometimes directly with clients to understand real problems and shape effective solutions.
Improve how the team works by refining processes, increasing speed, and maintaining strong execution.
Apply and evolve AI and agent-assisted workflows across development processes to increase velocity and effectiveness.
You have experience building and scaling production systems and understand the realities of what breaks.
You have led engineers while remaining hands-on and close to the code.
You actively use AI or agent-based tools and think critically about how to apply them across a team.
You understand the risks of AI-assisted workflows and take responsibility for correctness, security, and system integrity.
You have strong problem-solving skills with a practical mindset.
You can engage directly with clients or stakeholders and translate complex problems into workable solutions.
Experience with SaaS platforms and our stack and technologies such as: React, React Native, Node.js, Postgres and systems like AWS, Google Firebase, App Store Connect, Google Play Console, is a plus, however it is more important to have the right mindset and coding abilities than being an expert in the stack and systems.
