Digital Marketing Manager

Salary Competitive

FoodOp is looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to help scale our platform across Denmark, the UK and US.

Running a profitable and enjoyable foodservice business without sacrificing chef creativity is incredibly hard. FoodOp is on a mission to change that.

More than 750 professional kitchens use FoodOp daily to manage recipes, menus, procurement, and reporting. As our first dedicated marketing hire, you will play a key role in building the marketing setup that supports our next stage of growth.

This role is broad, hands-on, and evolving. We are looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and wants to help build a category defining brand from the ground up.

You must be fluent in English. Danish is a plus.

About the Role

As Digital Marketing Manager, you will drive marketing activities across channels and formats in close collaboration with Customer Success, Sales, and Product.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing paid marketing and SEO efforts together with external partners

  • Owning the content calendar, creating and coordinating content across channels including social media, newsletters, website, and customer communication

  • Preparing fairs and events, and supporting sales with sales and marketing materials

  • Tracking performance, improving reporting, and continuously optimising campaigns and messaging

Contributing wherever needed from presentations and customer material to testing new ideas and improving internal marketing processes.

What We’re Looking For

This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys building, operating, and improving. Someone who takes initiative and gets things done.

We imagine that you:

  • Have 3+ years of hands-on digital marketing experience from SaaS, B2B tech, or a similar fast-paced environment

  • Are experienced and comfortable working across content, paid marketing, email/CRM, social media, and reporting

  • Are a sharp communicator and writer who knows how to adapt messaging to different audiences and enjoys creating the content yourself

  • Are proactive, organised, and comfortable figuring things out without a fully defined playbook

  • Are comfortable with customer dialogue, and enjoy coordinating stakeholders and collaboration across teams

  • Use AI and new technologies, not as a shortcut, but as practical tools to improve quality, speed, and learning

  • Are fluent in English; Danish is a plus.

Experience from hospitality, foodservice, or contract catering is a plus, but not a requirement.

Ways of Working

We are a small, ambitious team working across Denmark and the UK. We value ownership, curiosity, continuous learning, collaboration, and people who take initiative.

You will work closely with colleagues across functions and have the opportunity to influence how marketing evolves at FoodOp.

You will work in our Copenhagen office, and we have an office first culture.

How to Apply

We review applications on an ongoing basis, so please send your CV together with a short note on why you are interested in the role and why FoodOp feels like the right fit for you.

We look forward to hearing from you.
