FlavorScale is seeking a Snapchat Growth Intern to own the map. While Instagram is for the "aesthetic" and TikTok is for the "algorithm," Snapchat is where the real-time heartbeat of the city lives. We need a native creator who understands how to use Snap Maps, Lenses, and Spotlight to make FlavorScale the go-to utility for every Gen Z user in Northwestern Europe.
This isn't about polished commercials; it’s about capturing the "now." You will work directly with the Growth team to turn the streets of Amsterdam (and beyond) into an interactive playground of food discovery.
Snapchat Native: You don't just have an account; you understand the ecosystem. You know how to make a Spotlight go viral and how to use Bitmojis and Lenses to build brand identity.
Spatial Thinker: You understand the power of Snap Maps. You see a trending "Hot Zone" in the city and know exactly how to intercept that traffic for FlavorScale.
The Raw Creator: You have a "Lo-Fi" but high-impact content style. You can shoot, edit, and post a "day in the life" or a restaurant "vibe check" in 60 seconds flat.
High Agency: You don't wait for a script. You hear about a new pop-up opening in De Pijp and you're already there with your phone out before the doors open.
Background: Studying Marketing, Creative Media, Communications, or a related field.
The Snap Map Strategy: Curate and contribute to "Our Story" in key urban hubs, ensuring FlavorScale is the face of food discovery on the public map.
Spotlight Dominance: Create high-velocity, short-form video content specifically for the Snapchat Spotlight feed to drive app downloads.
AR & Lens Innovation: Work with our tech team to brainstorm and deploy custom FlavorScale AR Lenses that users can use when they visit our partner restaurants.
Geo-Fencing Outreach: Help coordinate hyper-local campaigns that trigger when users are near our "Hot Zone" partners.
Performance Tracking: Use Snap Analytics to measure reach and conversion, helping us prove the ROI of "Dark Social" before our 2026 Q3 funding round.
This is a work-based internship that offers a Masterclass in Social Utility. While we cannot promise permanent positions—as our key hires depend on 2026/2027 investment cycles—this role is a Strategic Talent Pipeline. Successful interns who can "own the map" will be top-of-mind for Channel Lead roles as we scale worldwide.
Location: Based in Northwestern Europe (Remote-friendly, but a "boots on the ground" mindset for your local city is essential).
Language: Fluent in English. (Fluency in French or Dutch is a major Plus for local community building).
Tools: Expert in the Snapchat app suite, plus basic mobile editing (CapCut/InShot).
Status: This must be a formal internship as part of your degree.
