UI/UX Designer for early-stage SaaS website

We are an early-stage SaaS startup building a digital platform for businesses, and we are looking for a UI/UX designer who can help us design the first version of our website.

The role is focused on the website experience. You will help us turn rough ideas and brand direction into a clean, intuitive and professional website design. This includes user flows, wireframes, landing pages, product sections, conversion-focused pages and the general visual direction of the website.

You will work side by side with our backend developer and the two founders. This means you will have people to spar with, test ideas with and get feedback from. At the same time, you will have a lot of ownership over the design side of the website. We are not looking for someone who just follows a fixed brief. We are looking for someone who can take responsibility, think independently and help shape the website from the ground up.

We are especially interested in someone who is comfortable using AI tools as part of their work. If you are good at using tools like Claude Code, ChatGPT, Figma AI or similar to speed up design, prototyping or even frontend implementation, that is a big plus. We care more about the final result than whether everything is made fully manually.

At the same time, we are not just looking for someone who can generate quick outputs. We still value creativity, strong design thinking, attention to detail and a good eye for what feels clean, simple and trustworthy. The website should look professional and be easy to understand, not just be “AI-generated”.

We are still at an early stage, so you will have a real influence on how the website looks and feels. We want to build something that feels simple, modern and easy to understand from the first version. The website should explain the product clearly without feeling overcomplicated, while still looking sharp and trustworthy.

Your tasks may include:

Designing the first version of the website in Figma
Creating user flows and wireframes
Designing landing pages and website sections
Helping define the visual style of the brand
Improving the website experience based on feedback
Using AI tools where relevant to speed up design, prototyping or frontend work
Working closely with the founders and backend developer

It is a plus if you have experience with:

Figma
UI/UX design for SaaS websites
Landing page design
Conversion-focused design
Claude Code, ChatGPT, Figma AI or similar tools
Basic frontend understanding
Design systems
