Plinto is an early-stage startup in Copenhagen creating the new standard for business and financial controlling in the AI-era.

Co-founders Jakob Nielsen (CEO), Sebastian Rehnby (CTPO), and Nermina Ostojic (CCO) have worked together for 10+ years in Copenhagen startups (Peakon, Podio) and large enterprises (Workday).

Your experience

Our ideal candidate has experience with most or all of the following:

• 3+ years of experience as a software product designer, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work

• Comfortable working independently on features, and excited to help shape how design operates in a small team

• Strong proficiency in Figma

• Experience implementing design prototypes in code, with and without AI

• Foundation in interaction design, visual design, and information architecture

• Familiarity with design systems, and interest in helping build and grow ours

• Working understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, React)

• Experience designing B2B applications—bonus points for fintech, enterprise software, or data-heavy products

What you'll do

We don't have product managers, so we own the roadmap and prioritise together. Most days you will focus on:

• Shaping the product: You'll work closely with the founders to define what we build and why, from customer problems to feature concepts to final designs.

• Designing end-to-end: You'll take features from research and ideation through to high-fidelity UI and interactive prototypes.

• Set the foundation: Help build our design system, component library, and design practices as we grow.

• Collaborating with engineering: Work hand-in-hand with engineers to ship features. You'll be in the details during implementation, ensuring the final product matches the vision.

• Understanding our users: Stay close to customers through research, feedback sessions, and data analysis to ensure we're solving the right problems in the right way.

• Designing for AI: Help us design the best possible AI-native user experience for Plinto.
