We’re looking for a strategic, people-first Head of Event Operations to lead and empower our team of Event Coordinators in Copenhagen.


This role is about creating the structure, standards, and strategy that enable meaningful, brand-aligned events. You'll lead the operational vision for our events programme, shaping how we plan, deliver, and scale events that bring our mission to life by helping people step away from their screens and into real-life connections.


You’ll lead our team of Event Coordinators to ensure every event is delivered with excellence, impact, and intention. If you’ve led people, built systems, and know how to turn creative ideas into well-run, high-impact experiences, this is the role for you!


What You’ll Do

  • Lead & Empower: Lead a talented team of Event Coordinators, aligning their creativity and energy toward shared goals and high standards of delivery.

  • Design our Events Strategy Plan: Create a clear and realistic calendar of events aligned with LifeBonder’s mission to get people off their screens and into real-life connections.

  • Own the Full Event Lifecycle: Turn ideas into actionable plans and support the team to execute them with clarity, efficiency, and accountability.

  • Create Systems to Enable Great Events: Introduce new ways of working that allow the team to execute events smoothly and consistently.

  • Champion Meaningful Experiences: Ensure each event prioritises learning, connection, and emotional impact, where purpose drives the experience.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with our Marketing, Partnerships, and Community teams to ensure alignment, visibility, and engagement across all events.

Who You Are

  • You’ve led events, workshops, or programmes before and understand what makes them run smoothly behind the scenes.

  • You have experience leading or coordinating people, and you enjoy empowering others to do great work.

  • You’re a self-directed doer who stays calm under pressure and thrives on autonomy and momentum.

  • You combine creative thinking with operational discipline - you know how to make ideas happen in the real world.

  • You understand how people learn, connect, and grow through shared experiences.

  • You’re passionate about building community offline, creating spaces where authenticity thrives.

  • You know that an early stage startup shoestring budget isn’t a barrier to creating a great event as long as you have the skills and creativity to think outside the box.

  • You live in Copenhagen, love its culture, and know how to channel its energy into meaningful events.

  • You’re flexible with occasional evening or weekend events.

  • You’re fluent in English (C1/C2 level).
