Role Overview

We’re looking for a Funding Specialist Intern to support our grant and funding efforts over the next months.

You’ll work directly with the founders on identifying relevant opportunities, shaping applications, and turning our product, research, and roadmap into clear proposals.

This is a hands-on role focused on real submissions. You’ll be involved in work that directly impacts whether we secure funding and move forward.


About BreatheWise

BreatheWise is building a small wearable that guides breathing through vibration. It helps people manage stress in daily life without screens or sound.

We have working prototypes and early testing in place. The next step is securing funding to continue development and validation.


Key Responsibilities

Grant Research

  • Identify relevant funding opportunities (Denmark, EU, health, innovation)

  • Filter and prioritise what is worth applying for

Applications & Writing

  • Write and edit parts of grant applications

  • Translate product, research, and vision into clear proposals

Structuring & Planning

  • Help structure budgets, timelines, and project plans

  • Support alignment between technical work and funding requirements

Submission Support

  • Assist in preparing and finalising real funding applications

  • Clear, structured writing

  • Ability to turn complex ideas into simple explanations

Work Approach

  • Able to work independently without step-by-step instructions

  • Focused and reliable

  • Comfortable in an early-stage startup environment

Background

  • Business, communication, health, or similar

  • Interest in startups, funding, or impact-driven products

About the position

  • Duration: 3 months

  • Flexible hours

  • Location: Copenhagen / hybrid / remote

  • Unpaid internship, possibility for a full hire if successful.

  • We are currently pre-revenue, we have received funding from Innofounder and Bevica Foundation
