Mugato is an agentless IT infrastructure discovery and service dependency mapping platform. We automatically discover every device, application, process, and dependency across an organization's IT infrastructure, without installing software on any endpoint. One lightweight VM, deployed in under 30 minutes, delivers complete visibility across environments ranging from a handful of servers to hundreds of thousands.

What makes Mugato unique is how we do it. Traditional discovery tools rely on agents deployed to every endpoint or on fingerprint libraries that can only recognize known software. Mugato takes a fundamentally different approach: we observe actual runtime behavior and communication patterns directly from process-level activity in memory, building a living picture of the infrastructure as it truly operates. This is not a periodic snapshot. Our platform collects meta-information at minute-level granularity and retains the full temporal dataset, meaning you can look back across any time range to see exactly how your infrastructure looked and behaved at any point in time.

This approach enables what Gartner distinguishes as true Service Dependency Mapping (SDM), where servers and processes are automatically grouped into meaningful application services with measured, process-level dependencies between them. Industry analysts have confirmed that no other vendor delivers automated SDM today. Mugato occupies a genuine white space, bridging observability and enterprise architecture in a way that does not exist as a market category today.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Lead Developer who thrives at the intersection of front-end craftsmanship and structured back-end engineering. You will play a central role in building and evolving our commercial SaaS platform, working closely with product, architecture, and customer success teams to deliver a product that enterprise customers rely on every day.

You will be building production-grade software for large-scale enterprise environments where reliability, maintainability and clean architecture are non-negotiable.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design, develop and maintain front-end components using modern web frameworks, ensuring a polished and responsive user experience

• Build structured, well-architected back-end services in C# that handle complex business logic at enterprise scale

• Contribute to the full product lifecycle of our commercial SaaS B2B platform, from technical design through deployment and monitoring

• Apply rigorous code methodology to ensure consistency, testability and long-term maintainability across the codebase

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into robust technical solutions

• Analyze system performance and data patterns to drive architectural improvements and product quality

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Technical qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in software development for enterprise-grade, commercial products

• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem, particularly ASP.NET MVC

• Deep understanding of structured coding practices, software design patterns and code methodology

• Analytical mindset with the ability to reason about complex systems, data flows and dependencies

Preferably

• Solid experience with modern front-end web frameworks and JavaScript

• Proven track record building and shipping SaaS B2B products used by enterprise customers

Education

University degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience combined with demonstrated expertise.

Language

Fluent in English and Danish, both spoken and written. Our product, documentation and many customer interactions are conducted in English.
