Assist HR operations – Support growth – Make an impact
Mover is a profitable logistics and technology scale-up headquartered in Copenhagen with operations in four European countries. We are looking for an energetic HR Assistant to join our People & Culture team.
This is not your typical administrative role. You’ll be stepping into a role where accountability matters, and for a period, you’ll take full responsibility for driving the HR function while our HR Lead is on maternity leave. This position is permanent – not a maternity cover - offering a unique opportunity to accelerate learning and impact.
You’ll be part of a supportive team, but you’ll have room to act independently and improve ways of working within People & Culture in Mover.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As our HR Assistant, you will be part of the day-to-day of the HR function. This includes support hiring and onboarding, HR admin and compliance, employee relations, policy updates, and improving HR processes. During the maternity leave period you will take on broader responsibility for the full HR role, working directly with our executive leadership.
This role is ideal for someone who has a few years of hands-on HR experience, enjoys variety, gets stuff done, and thrives when given responsibility.
THE JOB
Support full cycle recruitment (post jobs, screening, scheduling, and onboarding coordination)
Maintain HR records (contracts and HRIS data)
Manage employee lifecycle tasks (probation reviews, status changes, offboarding)
Assist with HR administration (payroll support, benefits, HR reporting)
Update HR policies (templates, documentation)
Drive employee engagement initiatives (planning, running, employee surveys)
Analyze surveys and translate insights into actionable initiatives together with leadership
Be the point of contact for employee questions and guidance
ABOUT YOU
You bring practical HR experience and an eagerness to take on real responsibility. You have a contagious energy and personality, you are organized, communicative, and capable of tackling issues on your own initiative - not needing to be instructed.
To be considered an ideal candidate, you likely have most of the following:
1-2 years of professional HR experience in generalist support or HR operations
Knowledge of recruitment processes and HR best practices
Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple HR tasks
Excellent communication skills in both Danish and English (written and spoken)
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion (clean criminal record is mandatory)
Proactive mindset and a desire to improve processes
Experience with an HRIS or ATS is a plus
This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow in HR and step into responsibility quickly.
THE PACKAGE
A high-impact HR role in a dynamic scale-up
Direct collaboration with the executive leadership, including the CEO
Broad exposure to all areas of HR
Opportunity to drive HR operations during a parental leave period
Hybrid work setup and collaborative environment
Competitive compensation aligned with experience
