We’re a small but ambitious startup building something special—and we’re looking for an experienced brewer to join us as a Co-Founder and Brewing Lead.
This is not a traditional job position. It’s a founding role for someone who wants to join the journey of building Kombucha Inc. from the ground up.
As a founding team member, you’ll play a key role in shaping our products, brewing operations, and production strategy. Together, we’ll define not only what we brew—but how we grow the company.
We’re looking for someone with hands-on brewing experience, a strong sense for quality and flavour, and the ambition to help build something long-term.
Joining the founding team requires a meaningful commitment to the company, either through capital investment, time investment (sweat equity), or a combination of both.
Product & Brewing Leadership

Help establish production systems and quality practices as the company grows.
Research, Development & Innovation
Participate in new product development from concept to market.
Experiment with ingredients, techniques, and flavour profiles.
Help translate creative small-batch ideas into scalable products.
Contribute to testing and continuous improvement.
Operations & Supply Chain
Help identify and build relationships with ingredient suppliers.
Support production planning and inventory management.
Contribute to building efficient brewing workflows.
Ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
Strategic & Commercial Input
Collaborate on product portfolio and brand positioning.
Align brewing capabilities with market opportunities.
Support product launches and go-to-market planning.
Contribute to long-term decisions around equipment, facilities, and growth.
This is a Co-Founder position, meaning ownership in the company comes through active contribution and commitment.
Entry into the founding team is structured through one of the following:
Capital investment into the company,
Sweat equity through significant time and operational involvement, or
A hybrid combination of both.
The final equity structure will reflect experience, contribution, investment, and long-term commitment.
We’re open to different profiles, but ideally someone who:
Has practical brewing experience (craft brewery, beverage production, or similar).
Has worked with recipe development or product production.
Enjoys both the creative and operational sides of brewing.
Has an entrepreneurial mindset and interest in building a company.
Is willing to invest significant time, energy, and potentially capital into creating something long-term.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants ownership and responsibility — someone who is passionate about joining our journey. This is much more than just a job.
