With Future Company Role Potential
for Industrial Designers:
Help Build the Future of Power - Join BYGGO Design!
Are you sick of hearing about climate change, plastic pollution, and a host of other worldwide crises, and feeling like you cannot do anything about it? We hear you. And we are here to tell you that you do not need to wait until you finish school to make a difference; you can apply your knowledge in the real world now!
Here at BYGGO Design, we’re developing a universal, modular power supply system that can power everything from phones and laptops to EVs and solar systems — while cutting CO₂ emissions, plastic waste, and E-waste on a global scale.
We are looking for a candidate with hands-on experience in practical product design and strong CAD skills (e.g., SolidWorks or similar). Your focus will be on smart, modern and visually refined design with a dynamic, user-oriented bias. You will work through brainstorming, quick sketches, and hand drawings to develop concepts and translate them into robust CAD models for iteration and refinement.
This is not just an internship, it’s your launching pad into the real world of green tech! From this internship, you will gain:
Hands-on experience with module designing of power supplies and hardware development
Mentorship from experienced engineers and founders
Creative freedom and room to explore your own interests
A collaborative, startup culture based at Symbion Østerbro
Free coffee, tea, cocoa, and access to a fresh, healthy, affordable lunch buffet
Opportunity for a future role in the company, including founder roles
The benefit of working in a start-up is that the world is your oyster. If you think of a solution or something that you are interested in and our company is missing, you can work on that as well! Here are some tasks that you can work on:
Designing the power supply block and how it will connect to each other
Drafting ideas in digital design platforms such as SolidWorks
Collaborating with an interdisciplinary and multicultural team to design the power supply block
Have the opportunity to assist with electrical engineering and building power supply prototypes
The option to bring forward your own project ideas aligned with our mission
We are looking for driven students:
Studying industrial design, mechanical engineering, or related disciplines
Having Knowledge of some electronics, and/or power electronics, and/or power supply
Capable of collaborating with electrical engineers
Are fluent in English
Our Ideal Candidate may also have some of the following:
Strong knowledge of power electronics and power supply
Knowledge of microelectronics or embedded systems
Ability to work with SolidWorks
Leadership and project management skills/experience, or a natural leadership ability
Strong Organisational and planning skills
Passion and/or knowledge of sustainability and/or the green transition are also recognised and appreciated
We are specifically looking for BSc students who are in their final year of studies or MSc students. We are open to internships, for-credit internships, or thesis positions.
Our ideal candidate will also be curious, eager to think critically, and have great communication and teamwork skills, capable of collaborating successfully, but also working independently. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
This is an unpaid internship, but it offers long-term growth and career value
