React Native Developer – Gaming Startup in Central Copenhagen

About Us

We're a small but ambitious gaming startup based in the heart of Copenhagen. Currently a tight-knit team of 3 (scaling to 5-6), we're building something exciting in the gaming space. Our studio combines creative freedom with technical excellence, and we're looking for someone who wants to be part of shaping a product from the ground up.

The Role

We're seeking a talented React Native Developer to join our core team. You'll have significant influence on both our technical architecture and product direction, working closely with the founders and the rest of the team to bring our game to life.

What you'll do:

• Develop and maintain our mobile + web game using React Native

• Architect scalable, performant solutions for complex gaming features

• Help shape the technical roadmap

• Write clean, maintainable code

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to our engineering culture

Requirements

Must have:

• Strong experience with React Native and modern JavaScript/TypeScript

• Understanding of mobile app performance optimization

• Experience with CI/CD

• Experience shipping mobile applications to App Store and Google Play

• Ability to work independently and take ownership

• Fluent in English (Danish is a plus, but not required)

Nice to have:

• Experience in gaming or real-time interactive applications

• Knowledge of animation libraries (Reanimated, Lottie, etc.)

• Experience working in early-stage startups

• An AI optimised workflow
