Unpaid internship · mentorship-led · real projects · potential path to paid role (no guarantee)
Folke Furniture is a D2C furniture brand from Copenhagen. We make modular sofas that ship in boxes, assemble in minutes, and rearrange whenever life does. Built for people who move often and live in real homes with stairs, doorways, and changing needs. We’re a young company, which means you’ll be close to real decisions, not just watching from the side.
Folke Foundry is our internship programme: learn by building. You’ll get a clear project scope, weekly feedback from the founders, and finish with work you can point to (portfolio + references). This is an unpaid internship, and we’re upfront about that, so we work hard to make it genuinely valuable for you. If it’s a great match, you’ll be among the first we consider when paid roles open (no promises, just honest intent).
You’ll help make the “invisible” parts feel simple: production flow, packaging, freight, lead times, and launch readiness. You’ll work directly with the founders and suppliers, and get a close look at how a product brand actually moves from factory to customer.
You’ll work on things like:
Freight quotes + lead time tracking (Factory → Customer)
Packaging/shipping planning (cost, damage prevention, parcel limits)
Building simple ops systems in Notion / Sheets for ETAs, QC checklists, and documentation
Launch readiness: mapping what can break in the supply chain, and how we prevent it before launch
We want you to leave Folke better than you found it, and grow yourself stronger than you arrived.
You’ll get:
Real ownership: a defined set of projects that matter
Weekly mentorship with the founders (clear feedback and support)
A portfolio outcome: concrete deliverables you can show and talk about
A strong reference if you deliver strong work
Priority consideration for future paid roles if there’s mutual fit (no guarantees)
A front-row seat to how a product brand actually runs: suppliers, trade-offs, and the calm systems behind customer happiness
