About the Role

Visma Logbuy is looking for a Business Controller to join our office in Copenhagen. You will be responsible for business controlling activities for the Danish entity and will work closely with the local commercial team, the Nordic finance organization, and Visma Group Finance. You will report to our Nordic Finance Director.

This is an exciting opportunity for you who want to work broadly within business control in an international environment, gaining deep insight into the financial performance of the business and actively contributing to shaping processes, systems, and ways of working.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Playing a key role in the month-end closing process, including preparation, validation, and follow-up of month-end accruals, variance analysis, and contribution to group reporting

• Actively identifying opportunities to improve, automate, and standardize financial processes, reporting, and data flows

• Contributing to the development of a proactive, forward-looking, and data-driven controlling function

• Supporting business optimization and development through data mining and potential analysis to uncover commercial opportunities in collaboration with BI-team.

• Together with the department, driving the budgeting and forecasting processes for the Danish entity

• Ensuring accurate and insightful profitability analysis of the business

• Follow-up of sales commissions

• Acting as a financial business partner and support to management

Who are you?

• 3–5 years of experience from a business controlling, finance, audit, or similar role, preferably in an international company

• Strong commercial mindset with a genuine interest in business development and optimization.

• Solid interest in and understanding of accounting, financial processes, and systems

• Proven track record of working proactively with systems, automation, and process improvements

• Excellent Excel skills; Google Workspace knowledge is an advantage

• Very good command of Danish and English, both spoken and written

• Strong personal drive; self-motivated, curious, and comfortable working towards deadlines

• Used to supporting the business while also constructively challenging assumptions and decisions
