SYBO is part of the Miniclip family and known for the widely popular game, Subway Surfers - the most downloaded mobile game in the world, with over four billion downloads. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, we aim to create playful moments that inspire our fans to care.
You’ll join a highly experienced Art team working on Subway Surfers City, our newest major title launching globally on February 26th. From early on, you’ll be close to real production work, learning how a senior team builds, evolves, and supports a live mobile game.
Over time, you’ll get hands-on creating 3D environmental assets as the game moves into LiveOps and new content is delivered to millions of players. This is a rare opportunity to join a team in the early days of supporting a live, global title - within one of the largest IPs in mobile gaming.
This internship is unpaid and full-time, running for the fall semester 2026.
In your ramp-up month, you’ll… Get to know the game, the team, and how we work day to day. You’ll dive into our visual style and pipelines, get hands-on with Blender, and start exploring environmental art through mockups and early models that gradually become more polished. Along the way, you’ll build an understanding of how assets move from art to game - and if it’s new to you, you’ll also begin getting familiar with Unity.
In your contributor months, you’ll… Become an active part of the Art team, creating environmental assets for upcoming LiveOps content in Subway Surfers City. You’ll join art discussions, give and receive feedback, and collaborate closely with experienced artists as content takes shape. With a bit of timing luck, you may even see some of your work make it into the live game during - or shortly after - your internship.
