maiaa is preparing for its public launch in Denmark. We are building a curated marketplace for design-led meeting and event spaces, and we believe that how a platform is introduced matters as much as what it offers.
As our Marketing & Platform Launch Intern, you will work closely with the founder to shape maiaa’s launch narrative and increase visibility across the ecosystem. This is a hands-on role where you will help turn strategy into clear messaging, strong outreach, and real-world momentum while learning how an early-stage marketplace is built.
Your work will sit at the intersection of marketing, storytelling, and early launch execution, including:
Launch messaging & positioning
Help refine how we describe maiaa, what we are, who it is for, and why it matters, across outreach, meetings, and public communication.
Founder-led LinkedIn support
Help shape themes, draft posts, and build a consistent narrative.
Press & ecosystem visibility
Build and manage a structured outreach list including press, communities, and partners. Support outreach drafts and coordinate follow-ups.
Partnership support
Help identify relevant partners such as communities, agencies, and design networks. Prepare short outreach messages and support relationship-building.
Launch plan support
Help structure a practical launch timeline with milestones and visibility initiatives.
Market & positioning research
Conduct competitor and category research and translate insights into sharper messaging.
Real-world exposure
Join selected venue visits and conversations. After meetings, we will have brief group reflection sessions on what we learned and how we can improve our story and approach.
We are looking for a curious, thoughtful person who wants to learn marketing through real work, not just theory.
You will thrive here if you:
• take initiative and come with suggestions
• communicate clearly and enjoy shaping language
• are open to feedback and comfortable iterating
• can be professional in outreach and meetings
• bring a constructive attitude and genuine curiosity
You may be studying marketing, communication, business, innovation, design, or a related field. Prior internship experience is not required. The right mindset matters more than a perfect CV.
• A founder-led environment supported by a small remote development and design team
• Close collaboration with the founder during a real launch phase
• Exposure to venue meetings, partnerships, and ecosystem outreach
• A learning-focused environment with guidance, feedback, and room to grow
• The opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a design-forward marketplace
• A respectful setup aligned with academic requirements
A written recommendation can be provided upon successful completion of the internship.
The internship is expected to run for 4–6 months and is full-time at 37 hours per week, designed to fit university internship requirements.
Location: Copenhagen. While some remote work is possible, this internship is built around regular in-person collaboration.
