We are looking for a sharp and efficient Student Assistant to join our Product team. Your role will be critical in ensuring that our customers get accurate, timely, and well-organized data about public procurements and tenders.
As our new Student Assistant for Data & Market Intelligence, you will produce and validate important procurement data to help private companies engage with public spend. You will be monitoring public sources and ensuring that procurement data is correctly entered and approved in our systems. This is a role where accuracy is key.
Data entry & registration: accurately entering procurement notices and tender data into our database (Mercell Edesk/Internal Systems).
Classification: Analyzing tender documents to correctly classify them by industry codes (CPV) and parameters, ensuring the right customers see the right opportunities.
Quality control: Spotting errors in the system and making necessary corrections to maintain high data quality.
Source monitoring: Keeping our list of data sources (websites, document registers) up-to-date to ensure we don't miss any important information.
Market contact: Occasionally contacting public buyers to request missing documents or clarify information
Currently enrolled as a student in Business Administration, Economics or a related bachelor's or master's degree.
You are fluent in Danish (written and spoken) to understand tender documents, and you have good English skills.
You are structured, efficient and enjoy routine work while taking pride in delivering error-free results.
You are comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and can learn new software quickly.
You can quickly read a text, understand the context, and classify it correctly.
Fast typer: It is a big plus if you are used to working with keyboard shortcuts as speed and efficiency are important
Start date: As soon as possible
Duration: Temporary part time (expected around 15 hours per week)
Workplace type: Flexible working hours / Hybrid (working onsite at the office and from home), balancing flexibility with collaboration
