Chief Product & Technology Officer
Location: Copenhagen (hybrid)
Since our inception in 2015 in Denmark, Liva has been a pioneer in the field of digital behaviour change. Our ambition is to empower 1 million people by 2030 to improve their health and well-being by preventing and managing chronic conditions through digitally-powered, evidence-based lifestyle interventions.
Headquartered in Copenhagen and London, our collaborations with healthcare systems - including the NHS, life science companies and health insurers - allow us to impact lives at scale. In 2025 we acquired Momenta, a leading developer and provider of evidence-based, outcome driven, healthy lifestyle solutions that help people negotiate the many day-to-day challenges they face in living healthier lives, with a focus on weight management.
We are scaling a category-leading digital health platform for lifestyle-related chronic disease, combining SaaS, clinical programmes, and full-service care delivery across Europe and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
As we continue our growth journey, we are now seeking a Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) to own the end-to-end product and technology strategy, execution, and platform evolution ensuring that Liva delivers clinically credible, regulator-ready, scalable products that create measurable outcomes for patients, providers, payers, and partners.
This role unifies Product, Engineering, Data/AI, Platform, and Technology Operations under one accountable executive, ensuring tight alignment between clinical value, user experience, commercial scalability, and technical excellence.
Own and evolve Liva’s product vision and roadmap across our products
Translate company strategy into clear product bets, sequencing, and trade-offs

Make pragmatic, long-term technology decisions (build vs buy, modularity, APIs, SDKs)
Partner closely with Operations, Clinical and Legal, whilst also taking responsibility for Regulatory & Compliance to ensure: GDPR-compliant data handling, ISO-aligned security and quality processes, readiness for public procurement, payer audits, and due diligence
Ensure product supports outcomes tracking, evidence generation, and reporting
Build strong foundations for data analytics, AI-assisted coaching, and decision support
Establish a high-performing product and engineering operating model
Introduce best-in-class practices for: Discovery and validation, platform prioritisation, technical debt management
Ensure tight collaboration between Product, Engineering, Commercial, Operations, and Clinical teams
Build, lead, and mentor senior leaders across Product, Engineering, and Data
Create a culture of: Accountability, customer obsession, clinical respect, technical craftsmanship
Be a visible, credible leader internally and externally (partners, customers, investors), and an exemplar of our Values & Behaviours
Act as product and technology voice at board and investor level
Support: Commercial due diligence, enterprise sales cycles, strategic partnerships, M&A integration from a platform and product perspective
Represent Liva with credibility alongside CTOs, CPOs, CMOs, and CIOs at partners and customers
You’ll have:
Experience in product and technology leadership, including senior executive roles
Experience scaling digital health, health-tech, or regulated SaaS platforms
Proven track record of shipping complex products used by clinicians and/or patients
Strong understanding of: Healthcare workflows, data privacy and security, evidence, outcomes, and credibility requirements
Experience operating across multiple markets and regulatory environments

Comfortable making hard prioritisation decisions
Respected by engineers, clinicians, and executives alike
Calm under pressure; credible in complexity
Mission-driven, with genuine respect for patients and healthcare professionals
Culturally aware, with experience of managing teams across multiple geographies
And hopefully you’ll also have:

Prior involvement in fundraising, board reporting, or M&A integration
