Grey hair is the future. The senior generation are the experienced ones, they have the wisdom, the stories, the perspective, but often no place to share it.
SILVERS is a Copenhagen-based start-up where people book dinners in the home of local seniors. It’s a way for active seniors to share their knowledge, and for people of all generations to connect IRL. Our Silvers (senior hosts) include creatives, leaders, and entrepreneurs; including iconic Danish names like Jan Utzon, Karen Blincoe, and Mikael Colville-Andersen.
Last year, we hosted 75+ dinners, welcomed over 600 guests, and built a growing community of 30 Silvers. This year we’re focused on growing our movement across Denmark and taking first steps into new countries.
We’re looking for a builder. Someone with a founder mentality, who sees something that could be better and wants to try. We care more about how you work and think, and less about titles, grades, or perfect experience. What matters most is that you:
Take initiative and don’t wait to be told what to do
Like testing ideas and learning as you go
Care about people, tone, and community
Want to be part of a small team where your ideas matter
The role is flexible and we want to shape it around your interests and strengths, but the core areas include:
Social media & content
Creating content for social media, and helping shape how Silvers shows up online. Experimenting with formats, storytelling, and tone.
Community building
Helping grow and care for our community, online and offline. Engaging with guests, Silvers, and followers.
Product development
Thinking about how Silvers works as a platform and experience. Spotting friction, gaps, and opportunities. Being part of conversations about growth, expansion, and new ideas.
You’ll work closely with the core team and get insight into many sides of building a start-up, from creative work to strategy to everyday decisions.
