Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join the team, to work closely with our Co-Founder and CTO. This person will become the right hand person to the CTO and collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team on both the broader product strategy as well as the Engineering strategy. 

Day to day they will be responsible for being the project lead across the development of the product from the technical perspective reporting directly to the CTO. 

Responsibilities

This role will work closely with the Co-Founder and CTO on the development of the Humani product. 

• Owning and maintaining development of the Humani product from a technical perspective. 

• Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team on developing the strategy for the product. 

• You will be a capable Flutter and Dart software engineer, who is comfortable developing and deploying mobile applications to the major app stores. You will also have knowledge of working with or maintaining good CI/CD processes for mobile applications.

• Collaborate effectively with frontend developers and other team members.

• Profile and optimize app performance

• Participate in daily standup meetings

• Meet with team members as needed to better understand requirements

• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Requirements

• An experienced flutter developer, with experience of delivering successful iOS and Android applications. 

• A strong project leader, who can work and lead other team members to ensure delivery of projects to a high quality and on time. 

• Hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs

• Knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.

• Interest or experience in working with AI and data science.

• Experience of working in a startup environment is beneficial.
