Team and role 🎒

We’re hiring an Engineering Manager to lead and grow our Copenhagen-based engineering team (4–5 engineers, with active hiring underway). You’ll report directly to the CTO and take over full responsibility for people leadership, technical direction, and delivery for the team.

You are expected to stay hands-on in the codebase and deeply involved in architectural decisions, while spending most of your time enabling the team to do their best work.

This is a full-time permanent role based in Copenhagen.

Base salary starts at EUR 100,000 + pension and benefits.

What you’ll do 🧭

Lead, coach, and grow a team of software engineers (hiring, performance, feedback)
Set technical direction and ensure scalable, maintainable solutions
Stay involved in hands-on engineering where it matters most
Drive high engineering standards through reviews, mentoring, and example
Build AI-powered product capabilities as a core part of the platform
Partner closely with the CTO, product, and operations to deliver business-critical outcomes

Who we’re after 👋🏻

Proven experience as an Engineering Manager in a production environment
Senior-level engineering background; strong TypeScript skills
Comfortable owning architecture and reviewing high-quality code
Experience building products with AI baked in (LLM integrations, reliability, evals, human-in-the-loop)
Clear communicator with strong technical judgment
Motivated by scale-up environments and modern technology

Our own experience in the market, is that administrative tasks is an ever-compounding burden on fund managers, that adds little to no value. The services that need to be undertaken, either inhouse or outsourced, are primarily a hygiene factor. However, not having scalable solutions to the tasks can both diminish investor satisfaction, and be an inhibiter for growth going forward. We want to ensure that fund managers have the maximum flexibility to focus on the core deliverables and value-creating actions in the fund, while having ease of mind that the administrative side is taken care of and delivered at an efficient cost.
