We are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to help build the best Digital Assistant for professional kitchens.
Running a profitable and enjoyable foodservice business without sacrificing chef creativity is incredibly hard. FoodOp is on a mission to change that globally.
More than 700 chefs across 550+ kitchens use FoodOp daily to manage recipes, menus, procurement, and reporting. And we’re just getting started.
You will join our development team in Copenhagen, influencing both the product’s look and feel, as well as its usability and efficiency for professional chefs.
As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will:
Own the design of end-to-end user journeys for B2B customers
Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand real-world needs
Translate insights into wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished visual designs
Collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure designs are feasible and implemented to high quality
Advocate for the user in product discussions while balancing business and technical constraints
We imagine that you:
Have 3+ years of hands-on experience designing digital products, ideally B2B or professional tools
Are highly skilled in UI design, interaction design, and user-centered design principles
Have experience talking directly to users or customers to inform design decisions
Have a strong sense of aesthetics and attention to detail
Can create design systems and maintain consistency across products
Are passionate about delivering great user experiences and can articulate design decisions clearly
Thrive in collaborative, cross-functional teams and can influence without relying on authority
Familiarity with frontend technologies (Angular, TypeScript, Tailwind) is a plus.
We’re a small, talent-dense team, that values ownership, high velocity, and low-ego collaboration where everyone takes ownership of the codebase. Decisions are made through dialogue and alignment, and we value curiosity, continuous learning, and thoughtful problem-solving.
As a Senior Designer, you’ll have the freedom to define and drive user experience improvements, mentor other team members, and make a tangible impact on how our product is used by professional chefs every day.
We encourage experimentation, idea-sharing, and close collaboration with developers and product managers to deliver elegant, intuitive, and high-quality experiences.
We review applications on an ongoing basis, so please send your CV and relevant work (portfolio, shipped products, or case studies).
We care more about how you think, design, and deliver user experiences than about the number of years you’ve worked.
We look forward to hearing from you!
