We’re recruiting across 4 action teams: Logistics & Venue (Event Operations), Sponsorships & Finance (Fundraising), Marketing & SoMe (Brand & Growth), and Operations (Participant Experience Design). We’re also seeking volunteers for leadership roles.

This role captures RoyalHacks as it happens—high-quality photos and video that become teasers, highlights, and recap content for social media and future editions. It’s fast-paced, hands-on, and highly portfolio-friendly.
Must own a professional camera and necessary shooting gear
Capture high-quality photos and videos during pre-event, event, and post-event stages
Shoot reels/shorts and quick behind-the-scenes content for social media
Edit videos and photos quickly with same-day or next-day turnaround
Create promotional short-form content: teasers, highlights, recap videos
Apply creative editing styles based on current social media trends
Deliver final edited content + raw files within agreed timelines
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment on event days
Strong visual instincts (composition, lighting, motion, storytelling)
Reliable and structured with files + handoff (so the content doesn’t vanish into a hard drive black hole)
A high-impact portfolio project: national event coverage + social-first deliverables
Collaboration with a multidisciplinary organizer team building Denmark’s first national student hackathon
Official reference letters to support your goals
Credit and visibility through published content (where applicable)
October–March: dynamic workload (planning + a few shoot days), plus full on-site coverage during the hackathon weekend in Spring 2026 (Copenhagen).
