Denmark’s first national student hackathon brings together creative minds from all degrees and backgrounds for 24 hours of rapid, collaborative problem-solving. It’s a platform where students can make connections across universities, make their impression on the industry, and fast-track academic confidence through a weekend of intense innovation.

You’re viewing the post for a role in our Marketing & SoMe team. If another team fits you better, mention it in your application and we’ll route you.
RoyalHacks’ story begins with you. Marketing & SoMe shapes the brand, attracts participants, and spreads the word across campuses and social media. This role helps turn our brand direction into consistent, high-quality content—especially short-form video and social posts.
Create social content (posts, stories, carousels, reels/shorts) based on the brand guide and current campaigns
Help plan weekly content output with the Team Lead, Designer, and Digital Marketing Lead
Film simple, authentic short-form content (phone is fine): behind-the-scenes, organizer spotlights, campus moments, updates
Edit short-form video quickly for TikTok/IG Reels/YouTube Shorts (captions, pacing, trend-aware formats)
Support recruitment content for participants, mentors, and sponsors (e.g., “why join,” “what is a hackathon,” “meet the team”)
Coordinate lightweight content capture with other organizers (collect clips, prompts, templates)
Creative storytellers and communicators
Someone who enjoys making content consistently (not just once in a while)
Comfortable being scrappy: filming on a phone, iterating fast, learning by doing
Bonus: you’re Copenhagen-based (or can occasionally join on-location for content days)
No prior experience required—just creativity and drive.
Experience in brand management and marketing strategy
Skills in digital communication, content creation, and social media growth
A strong portfolio piece for your creative or tech career
Official reference letters to support your goals
A chance to help define RoyalHacks’ public image
