Are you about to graduate or have you recently finished your degree? Do you spend your free time exploring new technologies, building personal projects, or tinkering with home labs?
At Quantified Impacts, we are on a mission to help manufacturers calculate and document product-level emissions with speed and ISO-compliant accuracy. We believe that you cannot manage what you cannot measure. We are looking for a Junior Backend & Infrastructure Developer who wants to build the scalable, reliable systems that make global decarbonization possible.
As a member of our engineering team, you won’t just be "writing code"- you will be building and maintaining the foundation of our platform. You will work across the entire lifecycle of a feature: from writing high-performance microservices in Golang and Python to ensuring they are deployed safely via ArgoCD onto our Kubernetes clusters.
This is a unique "hybrid" role perfect for someone who loves backend logic but is also fascinated by how systems run, scale, and stay secure.
Develop & Scale: Build and maintain microservices that process complex environmental data.
Infrastructure as Code: Use Terraform to manage our Azure environment.
Automate Everything: Work with ArgoCD and CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployments.
Quality First: Write robust tests (unit, integration, and E2E) to ensure our carbon calculations are audit-ready and reliable.
Collaborate: Work closely with the founders and the tech team to turn sustainability challenges into elegant technical solutions.
Recent Graduate: You are finishing your degree (BSc or MSc) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or you’ve just started your career.
A Builder at Heart: You have a GitHub profile or a portfolio of "explorative projects" that show your curiosity. Maybe you’ve experimented with a Raspberry Pi cluster, built a web app from scratch, or contributed to open source.
Internship Experience: You’ve had at least one internship where you got a taste of real-world software development.
Test-Driven: You don’t consider a feature "done" until it’s tested. You understand that in the world of carbon accounting, accuracy is everything.
Infra-Curious: You are interested in DevOps and Infrastructure. You might not be a Kubernetes expert yet, but you’ve tried it out and are eager to master it in a production environment.
Already living in Denmark and able to come into the office in Valby.
We don’t expect you to be an expert in everything on day one, but you should be excited to work with:
Languages: Golang, Python
Orchestration: Kubernetes, ArgoCD
Infrastructure: Terraform, Azure
Data: PostgreSQL, Microservices architecture
Observability: Grafana, Prometheus, Tempo, Loki and OpenTelemetry
Other: GRPC, rabbitMQ
Real Impact: Every line of code you write helps companies reduce their environmental footprint.
Growth Mentorship: You will work in a fast-paced environment where you will be given responsibility early, backed by a team that cares about your professional growth.
Modern Tooling: No legacy monoliths here. We work with a modern, cloud-native stack.
Flat Hierarchy: Your ideas matter. We are a small, agile team where everyone contributes to the product direction.
Quantified Impacts is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
